[Townhall] Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA.) is suggesting that inflation— fueled by President Joe Biden’s Leftist policies— is a lie pushed by conservatives.
This week, Newsom claimed inflation plaguing Americans this holiday season is propaganda and nothing more than a fabrication being pushed by Republicans.
"Things you won’t see on Fox News today," Newsom posted on social media. "Prices for Thanksgiving are down — from Turkey to air travel."
The Democrat’s post included a chart showing price changes in items. According to data from the Labor Department, prices for peas, milk, stuffing, pie crusts, turkey, and cranberries have dropped from last year.

I think Newsom understands basic economics. He is betting that most people don’t have enough knowledge to prevent him from being held accountable for lying. He is counting on the media to help him out.

#6, We get hardly any news from our local TV station, it's mostly the "happy" kind of news and the reading of press releases from various organizations and businesses, never any hard news from city hall or Sacramento. The TV is really only good for sports and weather. I don't even bother to look at the San Diego Union-Tribune anymore. Investigative journalism is dead. In San Diego, you might never have heard about the fire under the I-10 overpass in LA. So, yes. The media helps Newsom by their refusal to report actual news.
#3, As for shopping in California, you aren't missing much especially if you want to buy anything that isn't Made in China.

#9 Yep - it reminds me of the news one would see characters in sitcoms watching. Fake news for fake humans. Then there's the commercial breaks where 50& of the "commercials" are actually PSAs about "no hate". Some of those PSAs even list their constituencies, which then also tells you who their targets are.

Wisconsin’s state legislature’s district maps are considered by many Democrats to be the most aggressively gerrymandered in the country. They were first drawn in 2011 under former Republican Gov. Scott Walker. The map has helped his party keep their large majority in both chambers of the state legislature since then, even as Democrats often win statewide elections.
With a new liberal majority on the state Supreme Court, the challenge to the map was brought up and has been the topic of conservative criticism nationwide.
"Democrats fought to elect Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Janet Protasiewicz this spring so she could help them retake control of the state Legislature through a rewrite of the state’s political maps. Now the court’s liberal majority is going through contortions to deliver on that anti-democratic judicial promissory note," the conservative Wall Street Journal editorial board wrote in a piece titled "A Looming Judicial Coup in Wisconsin."
Trump shared this editorial on his social media site, Truth Social, where he condemned the Wisconsin Supreme Court for taking up the case.
"Tremendous cheating going on in a State that I love, Wisconsin. Republicans must do something to stop it!" he said in the post.
Trump won Wisconsin in the 2016 presidential election and lost it in 2020. The state appears poised to have a major effect on the 2024 election.

Its time to run the McCarthy's and the rest of the RINOs out of DC. If we are going to break the cycle of corruption and cronyism it needs to happen. Once the deadwood are out we need to force term limits. Clean out the vermin in DC.
