Rush Limbaugh Predicts Republicans Will Join Democrats In Opposing Trump
[Freedom Outpost] As Democrats and Trump-opposing Republicans stand poised to engage in actions against Trump in hopes of a "win", the only winners will be establishment, charlatan, political shills while the losers will once again be the American people.
This story staring Trey Gowdy.
America, enjoy the Christmas season, remembering why Christmas is celebrated in the first place, and then fasten your seat belts for the rough ride coming in January as Democrats are poised to take over the House. With the vitriol Democrats have pumped out against President Trump and his supporters, expect the wrinkle-lipped Democrats who have been sucking on sour grapes to do nothing except engage in investigations into the president, his administration and his 2016 campaign. But, Democrats are not the only threat Trump faces in the upcoming House turnover. According to a hypothesis developed by Rush Limbaugh, Republicans are expected to betray Trump by joining Democrats to oust the 45th president.

#3  They should gang up on him and start cutting teh budget. Cut everything by 25%, cut entitlements, blame Trump while you can but start cutting.

Note to the House: If you don't cut, everything collapses and you can no longer buy your seat in Congress with pork hand-outs. If you cut now, and cut deep, you can blame Trump and be able to dole out pork for decades to come.

Obama Administration Dropped Terror Funding Case Against Islamic Relief – One Of World's Largest Islamic Charities
[D.C. Clothesline] The case was potentially bigger than the one against the Holy Land Foundation, the largest terrorism-financing case in American history. And, if prosecutions occurred, there would likely be a domino effect impacting many other Islamist organizations in America and around the world.

Then, near the end of the Obama Administration in 2016, the Justice Department declined to prosecute.

Federal agents were stunned.
You heard me, stunned. Absolutely stunned!
No clear reason was given.

The investigation into Islamic Relief
...more formally, the International Islamic Relief Organization, one of Osama bin Laden’s favourite charities and for many years the recipient of Saudi largess, including the current king, Salman ibn whoever. The UAE listed it as belonging to the Muslim Brotherhood, #44 on their 2014 blacklist ..
continued, but the criminal case presented by the three government agencies would not move forward.

The only reasonable speculation: The administration lacked the political will to take on the case.

Yes, because those "Islamist organizations" were Obama’s friends and allies.

Can the case be reopened? Since it did not go to trial, double jeopardy isn’t involved...

This may have somethng to do with it:

The charity was embraced by both political parties. It even enjoyed close working relationships with the State Department and U.S. Agency for International Development

Perhaps the most important of such institutions was the International Islamic Relief Organization (IIRO), the outreach element of Muslim World League. Britain's MI6 spymaster cautions Russia: Do not meddle in the West
ST ANDREWS, Scotland (Reuters) - The chief of Britain’s foreign intelligence service warned the Kremlin on Monday not to underestimate the West after a brazen nerve agent attack on a retired double agent in England stoked fears about Russian covert activity abroad.

In his second major speech since being named in 2014 to head the Secret Intelligence Service, or MI6, Alex Younger said Russia has a stance of "perpetual confrontation" with the West.

After the attack on Sergei Skripal, a former Russian military intelligence officer who betrayed dozens of agents to MI6, Britain’s allies in Europe and the United States took its side and ordered the biggest expulsion of Russian diplomats since the height of the Cold War.

Britain identified the nerve agent deployed in the English town of Salisbury as Novichok, a highly potent group of nerve agents developed by the Soviet military in the 1970s and 1980s.

Doctor has family restrain woman during lethal injection
[WND] A Dutch doctor carrying out a lethal injection on an elderly woman ordered her family to restrain her when she resisted, creating what even euthanasia advocates called a "horrible picture."

The case has been documented by a regional review board in the Netherlands, reported the National Catholic Register, which noted the church "has always considered euthanasia, like suicide, a ’gravely evil choice,’ while allowing that grave fear of hardship, suffering or torture can lessen the responsibility of persons who take their own life."

The church’s catechism bluntly states, "All those who knowingly and willingly perform or assist in carrying out the act of terminating the patient’s life have committed murder."

The case in Amsterdam, the report said, is one of several similar instances of resistance, including "a sex-abuse victim in her 20s, a 41-year-old alcoholic, a woman with ringing in her ears and now an Alzheimer’s patient."

The woman in Amsterdam, whose name was not released, was in her 70s.

Brazilian Lawmakers Push Law Recognizing Right to Own Guns for Self-Defense
[Breitbart] Brazilian lawmakers are gearing up to push gun reforms that will recognize citizens’ right to own guns for self-defense.

The goal of peeling back gun control took center stage when it became evident that Jair Bolsonaro would win Brazil’s presidential election. Bolsonaro, a former Army Captain who ran as a law and order candidate, is now president-elect.

On October 19, Bloomberg quoted Bolsonaro defending his support of private firearm ownership, saying, "Why have I always defended the ownership of firearms? It’s so that you, upstanding citizens, with a few requirements, can have a weapon inside your house or your farm. If some guy breaks down the door to your house, knocks down the gate of your farm, you have the right to react."

In anticipation of Bolsonaro’s win, a bill was crafted to ease taxes on firearms and lower the legal purchase age from 25 to 21. Moreover, the bill would, as a matter of law, recognize Brazilians’ "right to own and bear firearms for legitimate self-defense and the protection of personal property."

On December 1, the New York Times reported that Brazilians are now flocking for firearms training in preparation for broader access to firearms for self-defense.

New Details Reinforce That The FBI Used Fake Pretexts To Start Investigating Trump
[The Federalist] The evidence continues to mount that during the Obama administration, the FBI used George Papadopoulos as a prop to legitimize launching its investigation into the Donald Trump campaign. While the FBI claimed it initiated Crossfire Hurricane on July 31, 2016 in response to reports that Russian-linked individuals told Papadopoulos the Russians had dirt on Hillary Clinton, that story seemed shaky from the start.

Since then, text and email messages between former MI6 spy and Fusion GPS dossier author Christopher Steele and twice-demoted Department of Justice attorney Bruce Ohr raised the possibility that information Steele fed the FBI through Ohr was the true justification for the the FBI targeting the Trump campaign. A Wednesday tweet from Carter Page gives further credence to the suggestion that the Hillary Clinton campaign-funded Steele dossier served as the basis for the FBI’s interest in the Trump campaign.

In his tweet, Page included a screen grab of a July 2016 text message from Washington Post reporter Damian Paletta (who was then working for the Wall Street Journal) asking the former Trump campaign advisor about his supposed meeting in Moscow with Igor Sechin, and another meeting Page reportedly had with "a senior Kremlin official‐Divyekin‐and he said they have solid kompromat on Clinton as well as Trump."

Industry Returns to Illinois as More than 5,500 women came to Illinois to have an abortion last year
[Chicago Tribune] One woman came to Chicago by bus from Indianapolis in mid-2017, pregnant but with medical complications that would have made labor and delivery potentially dangerous. Another woman traveled here from Wisconsin in March because she didn’t have the financial means or will to have a baby.

Although they were strangers, 28-year-old Timna Axel hosted them in her Uptown neighborhood apartment for a few nights before and after their abortions at local clinics. Axel is a volunteer with Midwest Access Coalition, a Chicago nonprofit that helps defray the costs associated with traveling to terminate a pregnancy, including lodging, food and transportation.

"It seems like a lot of these (nearby) states have increased the barriers to abortion and other health care for women in recent years," she said. "It doesn’t seem right there should be this island of health care access in Chicago."

More women are crossing state lines to have abortions in Illinois, according to the latest statistics from the Illinois Department of Public Health, which were released earlier this week.

Last year, 5,528 women traveled to Illinois from other states to terminate pregnancies, almost a thousand more than the 4,543 women who came from out of state in 2016. The total number of abortions statewide during the same period increased slightly, from 38,382 in 2016 to 39,329 in 2017, according to annual state reports. Of those, about 1,000 abortions each year were provided to women whose home states were marked "unknown."

US Takes Another Hit On Biofuel Blending Mandates
[Hot Air] We knew (or at least feared) that this was coming, but Friday saw the finalization of the new biofuels ‐ specifically ethanol ‐ blending requirements for 2019 and 2020. And true to the promises that President Trump made to Iowa politicians, we did not see any significant reductions in the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) mandates. In fact, they went up, much the same as under Obama’s EPA. (EPA website)

On November 30, 2018, EPA finalized volume requirements under the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) program for 2019 for cellulosic biofuel, biomass-based diesel, advanced biofuel, and total renewable fuel, and biomass-based diesel for 2020. The final volume requirements are listed in the table below.

Here are the final numbers, for those interested in such depressing news.

BLUF:

In any event, it appears that nothing is going to change on this front and Iowa politicians are still holding the nation’s fuel supply hostage. And we have absolutely nobody in any position of power willing to take them on. Oh, and if you’d like one more thing to sour your morning coffee, there’s another push for a carbon tax taking place this month and they’ve even got some Republicans onboard.

Ruger Precision Rifle Gets a Big Block: Hands-on the RPR 338 Lapua
[GunsAmericaDigest] Of all the weapons that have made an impact over the last five years, at least among civilians, the Ruger Precision Rifle has arguably done the most. That is a bold statement, but you would be hard pressed to find a rifle that has carried more water. If nothing else, look at the competitors it has spawned: Ruger led the charge into affordable chassis, now followed by Remington, Tikka, Savage, and a dozen others. The Ruger Precision Rifle, or RPR, you could say has taken the precision market by Sturm.

It wasn’t that long ago that what we would term precision rifles had an entry price of around $4,000, and it went up steeply the second you asked for leather seats. If you wanted to compete playing long range, you needed either a trust fund or a sponsorship from Uncle Sugar, which might include a steep price tag if you weren’t in the AMU. Ruger took a look at the problem and decided to flip the tables.

You can almost see the conversation happening, and I would argue this is right after the entire design team for previous projects was purged.

Whistleblower: NOAA Scientists Manipulated Temp Data To Make Global Warming Seem Worse
[Daily Caller] A whistleblower says the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) rushed a landmark study claiming the planet was warming much faster than expected in order to influence international climate negotiations.

Dr. John Bates, the former principal scientist at the National Climatic Data Center in Asheville, N.C., told the Daily Mail NOAA’s 2015 study was meant "to discredit the notion of a global warming hiatus and rush to time the publication of the paper to influence national and international deliberations on climate policy."

Bates said NOAA scientists made a "blatant attempt to intensify the impact" of global warming to eliminate the "pause" in temperature rise since 1998. The Daily Mail claims Bates showed it "irrefutable" evidence NOAA’s study relied on "unverified" data.

Bates’ objections to the paper were ignored by his superiors, who let scientists make "decisions and scientific choices that maximised warming and minimised documentation" in advance of a major United Nations climate summit in Paris, France.

His statement to The Daily Mail comes amid an investigation into the NOAA study by House Republicans on the Committee on Science, Space, and Technology. Texas Rep. Lamar Smith, the committee’s chairman, subpoenaed NOAA in late 2015 for records related to the so-called "Karl study" that adjusted global sea surface temperature upwards, eliminating the "pause" in global warming since 1998.

Smith was heavily ridiculed for subpoenaing NOAA scientists, and the agency refused to hand over any internal deliberations of the "Karl study." The study’s lead author, Tom Karl, has since left NOAA.

#3  ^^^This. The lovely thing about science is that even if no one checks the data, eventually reality makes itself painfully obvious.

It is nice when someone takes it upon himself to rush the process, though. And it’s become clear that the field of climate science is well-seeded with honest researchers, despite the best efforts of propagandists controlling the high places.

#4  That or extreme incompetence is the only explanation for their results. Either of them should result in a firing and a complete remediation of their data.

The Earth's climate is changing. Just as it has since we first developed an atmosphere and as it will until the sun fries us to a cinder in 4.5 billion years. Both the sun and the orbit wobbles of the planet will see to changes. But you can't blame humans for them and then try to tax his ass into stone age socialism for them. So we get what we see here.

I don't believe in CAGW. Dr Svenmark's "sunspot" theory makes much more sense. I'm hoping for no more than a Dalton minimum (Napoleon marching on Moscow cold) not a Maunder Minimum (Skating on the Thames/London frostfair cold)

#7  NOAA has twice been caught changing the raw temp data sets. Sorry but when you start doing that, you are not doing science. Put your bill on and start going "Quack, quack, quack"

Manipulate #'s all you want. But to do science you have to start with the raw and explain the how and why for each step of manipulation. You don't just change the raw and then start from there. It's funny when you actually explain that to people and make them cudgle their brain or google how science experiments really work. Then you see the flickers of doubt before the dogma wall comes crashing back down and they resort to reciting dogma again.

President Trump remembers victims of Pittsburgh synagogue shooting in Hanukkah message
[Washington Examiner] President Trump honored the victims of the October shooting at the Tree of Life Synagogue as he marked the start of Hanukkah and denounced the hatred that Jews still face.

"Jews today continue to face many different forms of violence, hatred, and bigotry around the globe," Trump said in a Hanukkah message Sunday. "We remember all those from the Tree of Life-Or L’Simcha Congregation whose lives were tragically taken in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, this past October."

"As one nation, we pledge our continued love and support for the victims, their families, and the community, and we pray that the victims’ families find some measure of peace and comfort during this holiday season," the president continued.

The Clintons struggle coming to terms with the 'passing of their relevance'
[Washington Examiner] Bill and Hillary Clinton's star power has faded, but that has done little to humble their egos, according to New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd.

After attending a recent event in Toronto for the political power couple, Dowd described a "depressing" sight in which organizers cordoned parts of the Scotiabank Arena because of poor ticket sales.

The opinion piece published Saturday explores how former President Bill Clinton and wife Hillary Clinton, a former senator, ex-secretary of state, and failed presidential candidate, used to attract massive crowds in Canada and elsewhere and could command top-dollar ticket prices. While they still insist on embarking on the speaking circuit, with some VIP seats for speaking tour events have gone as high as $700, the fanfare isn't what it used to be.

"Their pathological need to be relevant in America is belied by a Canadian arena, where stretches of empty seats bear witness to the passing of their relevance," Dowd writes.

Dowd could not help but note the "sad contrast with the sold-out boffo book tour of Michelle Obama, who’s getting a lot more personal for the premium prices."

Dowd also has some harsh words for President Trump, whom she calls "an orange puffer clown fish who will go down as one of the most destructive forces in American history" and says she's been told that former President Barack Obama has expressed regret for putting so much faith in Hillary Clinton in 2016 and misreading voters.

In a June opinion piece, Dowd wrote that Obama believed he was "too good" for Americans who were "constantly disappointing him."

Tucker Carlson's 'Ship of Fools' rises above mundane punditry
[Washington Examiner] Political pundit books are a dime-a-dozen nowadays. Too often, they only exist as a written extension of the author’s current show or very basic beliefs. Instead of revealing a deeper insight, they end up being nothing more than fodder for a fan’s online Christmas wish list. But like Tucker Carlson often seems to do, his writing takes readers to a new level, a fresh perspective, of the current state of affairs in Washington and America.

Known for schooling uninformed liberals in TV debates, Carlson transfers that same primetime entertainment to the pages of Ship of Fools. Page after page, he eloquently exposes the hypocrisies of the Washington elite while providing a balanced history lesson in which he analyzes the current state of our nation, how we got to where we are, and where we go from here.

Many in the media claim to speak truth to power, yet they cower and look the other way when it comes to holding the super-elite accountable. To Tucker, truth and facts outweigh the prestige and position that anyone holds. Whether it’s Republican Speaker of the House Paul Ryan, billionaire Mark Zuckerberg, or the Clintons, he does not shy away from presenting the untethered accuracy of actual events.

Ship of Fools explains to readers what most of us who’ve worked in Washington already know: Many of the leaders who run our country don’t value the electorate ‐ you, the voter. "Countries can survive war and famines and disease. They cannot survive leaders who despise their own people," he writes. Donald Trump was elected president because he was an unconventional "politician" who actually listened to what the voters were saying and campaigned on it. As Tucker points out, Trump’s election "was a throbbing middle finger in the face of America’s ruling class."

In a pithy and hilarious manner, he pokes holes in the arguments of the Left’s clandestine agenda. Calling them out for being the party of the rich, who have turned a blind eye to several humanitarian issues that would have undoubtedly mobilized them in the past. Issues such as oppressive workforce conditions, harmful social media addictions, a drop in the life expectancy of "native-born" Americans, an increase in war-hungry Democrats, and the list goes on. He rightly turns the tables on liberals who have attempted to continually point fingers at the Right in order to distract from these hypocrisies.

President Trump likely to agree to two-week government funding extension
ABOARD AIR FORCE ONE (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One on Saturday he expects to agree to a two-week extension of funding ahead of a Dec. 7 deadline to fully fund the U.S. government because of former President George H.W. Bush’s death.

The prospects of a partial government shutdown have been looming in recent days after Trump last week renewed his demand for significant U.S. taxpayer funding of his proposed U.S.-Mexico border wall.

Trump said on Saturday congressional leaders have sought the short-term extension and he said he would "absolutely consider it and probably give it."

Bush died on Friday. His funeral is set for Wednesday in Washington, leaving almost no time to reach a deal ahead of the deadline, congressional aides said Saturday before Trump’s remarks.

This week, Trump told Politico he would "totally be willing" to shut down the federal government unless Congress authorized $5 billion to fund his long-promised wall along the U.S. border with Mexico.

[BBC] A woman killed on a train may have been leaning out of a window when she suffered a blow to the head, police said.

She died after sustaining serious head injuries on a Bristol Temple Meads-bound service, between Bath and Keynsham.

Police said the woman's death, at about 22:10 GMT on Saturday, was not being treated as suspicious.

The Rail Accident Investigation Branch has been informed.

A British Transport Police statement said: "We were called at around 10.10pm following a report a woman had received serious head injuries while travelling on a train between Bath and Keynsham."

It continued: "Initial inquiries suggest the woman may have been leaning out of a window when she suffered a blow to the head.

"Officers are currently working to confirm her identity and inform her next of kin."

Few scrapes on the right side of the vehicle. Best explanation for what happen was the driver lost control, went onto the right shoulder. No seat belt. Car scraped a bridge abutment on the right. Driver was thrown to the right side of the front seat. Head hung out the window until the abutment forcibly removed it. Car continued on its way under the bridge & came to rest quite a distance away. Body lurched back to this original position. The bridge abutment was found to have a large amount of blood , etc. splashed on it.

Economy
Our deficits may finally be coming home to roost (opens to video)
[The Hill] With a new Congress set to take office, the most recent projections have the U.S. budget deficit reaching nearly $1 trillion in 2019, or more than double the level of 2015.

The deficit is a perennial topic of discussion for politicians, reporters, pundits and economists, yet many people have difficulty understanding why it’s a problem.

Spending more than we take in sounds irresponsible, but how does the deficit actually impact the life of average Americans? The downside is especially hard to see when deficit spending generates immediate benefits, while the costs occur well into the future.

The recent debt default in Greece, along with the lingering deficit crisis in Italy, has highlighted the danger of excessive public borrowing. Those countries lack their own currency, however, which makes their situation very different from that of the United States.

The fact that our government is able to print money means that outright default is extremely unlikely; rather, the cost of excessive borrowing shows up in more subtle ways.

These costs can, for example, show up in the form of some combination of inflation, tax increases and spending cuts. Given the political difficulty of cutting popular entitlement programs, future tax increases are more likely than spending cuts. This option imposes a burden on the private sector of the economy.

WHO: 1.4 billion people at risk of disease from lack of exercise
[Wash Times] An estimated 1.4 billion people globally don’t exercise enough, increasing their risk for a number of diseases including diabetes, heart attack, stroke and some cancers, according to a global report published Tuesday.

Rates of physical activity are largely unchanged since 2001, in some cases worsening and with large disparities between men and women, the report said.

"Unlike other major global health risks, levels of insufficient physical activity are not falling worldwide," Dr. Regina Guthold of the World Health Organization, the study’s lead author, said in a statement. "Over a quarter of all adults are not reaching the recommended levels of physical activity for good health."

Accepted recommendations of movement per week are 150 minutes of moderate-intensity activity or 75 minutes of vigorous-intensity. Yet among the global population, one in three women (32 percent) and one in four men (23 percent) fail to meet these requirements.

High-income countries had insufficient physical activity two times higher than low-income countries and that rate increased by five percent between 2001 and 2016.

In Kuwait, American Samoa, Saudi Arabia and Iraq, more than half of all adults have insufficient physical activity.

Olde Tyme Religion
Pope Francis: There Is ‘No Room' for Homosexuality in Priesthood
[Breitbart] It is a mistake to downplay the seriousness of homosexuality, Pope Francis said in an upcoming book, insisting that homosexuals have no place in the priesthood.
In the book, the pope recounts an interview he had with missionary Fernando Prado, who asked him whether homosexuality was a problem, suggesting that it is not a big deal for priests to be homosexual since it is "just an expression of an affection."

"That’s a mistake," Francis replied. "It’s not just an expression of an affection. In consecrated and priestly life, there’s no room for that kind of affection."

The pontiff reiterated Church teaching "that people with that kind of ingrained tendency should not be accepted into the ministry or consecrated life. The ministry or the consecrated life is not his place."

The pope’s words were his strongest to date on the problem with homosexuality in the priesthood and follows on serious allegations that the Church’s problems with sexual abuse are rooted in the presence of a "homosexual network" among clergy and bishops.

In a bombshell report last August, former papal nuncio Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò tied the abuse crisis in the Church as well as cover-ups by bishops to an extensive "homosexual network" in the Church.

#6  AH9418, the enforced celibacy is (and has been) financial in nature, not so much the scriptural aspects. A Bishop once told me that we'd see women priests in the church long before married ones.

The parishes historically provide housing and transportation, plus a small salary for food and necessities. And the US 2017 maximum salaries for a RC priest ranged from $29,744 in the West region to $44,417 in the Midwest (don't know about the east coast or southern folks).

If you start adding the housing/food/other costs for spouses and children into the mix, the parishes would revolt.

Protestant and Jewish congregations manage to pay their religiious staff enough to support families without fussing, Mullah Richard, as do Orthodox Christians. And Orthodox Christians, like the Catholics, fund priestly education, whereas Protestants and Jews pay their own way. It’s all a matter of expectations.

They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. West Africa Province (ISWAP) attacked a remote base in Buni Gari village, in Yobe state, 60 kilometres (37 miles) from the state capital Damaturu on Saturday, with six of the attackers killed.

"We lost two soldiers in the attack and six bandidos murderous Moslems were also killed and their bodies recovered by soldiers," a military officer told AFP.

Air support and reinforcements from a military base in the nearby town of Buni Yadi "effectively routed" the jihadists, said the officer. He asked not to be named because he was not cleared to speak about the incident.

A member of the militia fighting beside the troops confirmed that the bodies of two soldiers and six jihadists had been recovered after the shootout, which lasted less than an hour.

Buni Yadi district is a known ISWAP stronghold

Around the same time in Maiduguri, capital of neighbouring Borno state, ajacket wallah'> exploding trollop female suicide bomber seriously maimed five members of the local militia at a checkpoint.

Civilian militia members had stopped two exploding trollop female suicide bombers at Muna Garage security checkpoint, but one managed to detonate her boom jacket, militia leader Babakura Kolo said.

"The bomber and her accomplice were killed in the blast while five of our colleagues were maimed," Kolo said.

"The explosives on the other bomber did not detonate and were defused by a bomb squad," he said.

The attack bore the hallmark of the Abubakar Shekau

Boko Haram has in recent months intensified attacks on military targets in Borno and Yobe states.

The two states, along with nearby Adamawa state, have born the brunt of nine years of jihadist violence that has claimed 27,000 lives and forced 1.8 million people to flee their homes.

Since July, AFP has reported 18 attacks on military bases in Borno and Yobe, and ISWAP has grabbed credit for most of them.

Restaurant offers free meal for kids if parents don't use cell phones during dinner
[FoxNews] A U.K.-based restaurant chain is offering an incentive to parents who don’t use their cell phones during dinner ‐ a free meal for their children.

Frankie & Benny’s decided to launch the "no-phone zone" promotion after the family-friendly restaurant conducted a survey of 1,500 people to see how the use of cell phones affected dinnertime.

According to the survey, nearly 20 percent of children said they felt their parents preferred to be on their phones during meals than to talk. About 23 percent of parents admitted they checked their cell phones during meals ‐ often while their child was talking. Around 10 percent of children even said they went as far as to try and hide their parents’ phones to get more attention.

As a way to combat the trend of parents preferring screen time over family time, the New York-style Italian restaurant offered free meals for kids when parents give up their devices."Children spell love T-I-M-E and by putting away screens parents are sending the message that their children are important to them and that can only be good for family time," parenting expert Susan Atkins said a press release from the restaurant, Today reported. "Parents are role models in everything that they do and in everything that they say, so by managing their own screen time parents are teaching their kids by example about when and where technology use is appropriate."

During the promotion, which started November 27, Frankie & Benny’s will provide a special box for parents to store their devices in during the meal.

Though the promotion is optional, the restaurant does "actively encourage" parents to participate.

[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] In the latest scandal to hit Islamic scholar Tariq Ramadan, nearly 776 pornographic photos ‐ including some purportedly of the women currently suing him on sexual and rape allegations ‐ were found on his laptops.

Ramadan, the grandson of the founder of the Moslem Brüderbund, is currently under conditional release from prison in La Belle France.

A new report by French newspaper "Le Journal du Dimanche" has surfaced saying that police, following a thorough examination and analysis of Ramadan's electronic data, collected 776 pornographic and sexual photos.

Last Tuesday, a confidential report disclosed by a French-speaking Swiss private radio confirmed sexual abuse allegations against Ramadan during his time as a former teacher in Switzerland
...home of the Helvetians, famous for cheese, watches, yodeling, and William Tell...
An investigation, commissioned by the government of Geneva to look into abuse in schools, focused mainly on the college des Coudriers and the college of Saussure where Ramadan taught French between 1984 and 2004.

Israel puts Palestinian Jerusalem governor under house arrest
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] An Israeli court on Sunday released the Paleostinian governor of Jerusalem from detention to house arrest for three days as part of an investigation related to a land sale.

Adnan Gheith, who was tossed in the clink
Keep yer hands where we can see 'em, if yez please!
on November 25, will be confined to his home through Tuesday, Jerusalem magistrate court justice Chavi Toker ruled.

Police have been investigating Gheith over suspicions he was involved in the Paleostinian Authority’s (PA) arrest in October of America-Paleostinian Issam Akel, who is accused of involvement in selling an east Jerusalem building to Jewish buyers.

Such sales are considered treasonous among Paleostinians concerned with Israeli settlers buying property in annexed east Jerusalem.

Police also suspect Gheith of recruiting Paleostinian residents of Jerusalem to the PA armed forces, which Israel says violates the 1993 Oslo accords.

Paleostinian officials have condemned his arrest and claim it is intended to pressure the Paleostinian leadership over Akel’s case.

Israelis, as well as US ambassador David Friedman, have called for Akel’s release.

Geith’s lawyer, Rami Othman, said the court’s decision to release his client to house arrest proved the case was not serious.

"The mountain gave birth to a mouse," Othman told AFP.

"They want to harass him," he said following Sunday’s hearing.

He said they did not want him to remain Jerusalem governor. "They don’t like the position."

Gheith had been arrested for several days in October and was also taken for questioning a number of times in recent weeks, with his office raided on November 4.

Israel meanwhile has halted security coordination with the PA in the Jerusalem area, Major General Adnan al-Dumeiri, front man for the Paleostinian security forces, told AFP.

Afghanistan
US airstrike kills key Taliban leader in Afghanistan
[DAWN] A senior Taliban
...mindless ferocity in a turban...
military commander has been killed in a US Arclight airstrike in Afghanistan, officials said on Sunday.

Abdul Manan, who was the Taliban's 'shadow governor' in the southern Helmand
...an Afghan province populated mostly by Pashtuns, adjacent to Injun country in Pak Balochistan...
province, died of wounds sustained during an airstrike late on Saturday said Omar Zwak, a front man for the official governor of the province.

Manan's death was also confirmed by the Taliban who in a statement described it as a "big loss" for the group but vowed that it will not affect their military operations.

Helmand ‐ the region that supplies the largest share of Afghanistan's opium crop ‐ has been the scene of bitter fighting for years with 10 out of 14 districts of the province either controlled or contested by the Taliban.

As a senior Taliban leader, Abdul Manan had led the insurgency group's expansion as it expanded control over the opium-rich province in recent years.

Afghan interior ministry front man Najib Danish said Manan was the Death Eaters' top military leader in southern Afghanistan and his death was a major blow to the Taliban.

"His death will lower the morale of the enemy, and result in (the) improvement of security in Helmand and other southern provinces," Najib Danish told AFP.

Danish said that 32 other Taliban fighters were also killed in the airstrike.

A US force front man in Afghanistan confirmed the airstrike had killed the Taliban shadow governor.

"The Taliban should consider intensifying peace talks, not the fight. They're going to have trouble intensifying the fight when their fighters and leaders are under constant assault," Col Dave Butler said in a statement.

Abdul Manan was on the blacklist unveiled mid-October by the Riyadh-based Terrorist Financing Targeting Center (TFTC), which imposed financial sanctions on nine individuals, including six Taliban members.

forces of Evil in the Arab country has attacked the positions of the country’s army in a central province.

"A military source said on Sunday that at around 8 PM, the US-led alliance forces fired several rockets at army positions in al-Ghurab mountain south of al-Sekhneh, causing only material damage," the official Syrian Arab News Agency reported, citing a military source. The area is located in Homs province.

According to a so-called monitoring group, the coalition forces at a US military base in al-Tanf region fired "more than 14 missiles" at a Syrian army convoy as it was passing through the desert in the far east of Homs province.

"The group was lost in the middle of the desert around 35 kilometers from the al-Tanf base," the UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights told AFP.

In September, the monitor said US Arclight airstrikes had killed 3,331 civilians in Syria since they began.

Iran among world’s top missile powers: Defense minister
That’s certainly one opinion.
[PRESSTV] Iran's Defense Minister Brigadier General Amir Hatami says the Islamic Theocratic Republic is currently one of the world’s topmost missile powers despite being subject to severe sanctions during the past 40 years.

"Today, Iran is among the world’s topmost powers in building missiles, radars, armored vehicles and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs)," the Iranian defense minister said in an exclusive interview with IRNA on Sunday, emphasizing that Iran's defense power is meant to send the message of peace and friendship to other nations.

"Iran has managed to attain a very desirable and acceptable performance in the field of defensive products and the Defense Ministry has become self-sufficient in defense industry despite tough sanctions [imposed] by the [global] arrogant system in 40 years," he added.

The Iranian defense chief further said the inauguration of the production line of the Kowsar fighter jet at Iran Aircraft Manufacturing Industrial Company in Isfahan Province last month proved that sanctions are ineffective.

On November 3, Iran launched the mass production of the fourth-generation all-indigenous interceptor jet, Kowsar, in a major step toward the renovation of its Air Force.

Syrian activist: Idlb residents live in horror due to al-Nusra assassinations
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Most of Syria’s Idlib activists opposing al-Nusra
...formally Jabhat an-Nusrah li-Ahli al-Sham (Support Front for the People of the Levant), also known as al-Qaeda in the Levant. They aim to establish a pan-Arab caliphate. Not the same one as the Islamic State, though .. ...
Front, the al-Qaeda terrorist organization’s arm in the country, which is also part of the so-called Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham
(HTS), are deeply concerned about the threats they are facing by the turban organization that controls large parts of Idlib and its northwestern towns.

The lives of these activists are in grave dangers.

They are assassinated or detained in prisons supervised by HTS, especially after some of these activists accused al-Nusra of its involvement in the liquidation of two prominent activists from the town of Kafr Nabl, south of Idlib.

The two activists are Raed Fares and Hamoud Junaid; both of whom were previously detained by HTS.

Ahmed Khalil al-Jalal, one of the most prominent artists in the town of Kafr Nabl opposing Bashir al-Assad’s regime, told Al Arabiya English that: "I personally accuse al-Nusra of the liquidation, and in response, we did not remain silent, we took part in demonstrations by myself and some of their friends (Fares and Junaid)."

The Syrian activist al-Jalal who is a close friend of Fares and Junaid said that the banners they carried during the demonstration "were critical of al-Nusra and carried direct accusations against their involvement in the liquidations."

He added: "We went out in small numbers in this demonstration because of people’s fear."

He pointed out that "I won’t make it easy for al-Nusra to arrest or assassinate me, and what I am going through today reminds me of the beginning of the Syrian revolution in 2011, when the Syrian regime army entered our town."

"The situation is difficult, and I am talking about the fear of those who do not dare to criticize al-Nusra, which is a security branch that terrorizes the people."

Jalal said that "al-Nusra and the various turban factions, politicize the population and control them by force under religious cover," noting that "whoever opposed the regime in the past will not keep silent now, but it is unfortunate that most of the activists are either nabbed
Keep yer hands where we can see 'em, if yez please!
or have been assassinated."

The Syrian activist and painter said that a group known as "Hisba" which is affiliated to al-Nusra and considered its police, went to his home following his participation in demonstrations against the turban group last Friday, but luckily he wasn’t there.

Since then, the painter sought a safe house and can’t be seen in public for fear of his life, but his anti-al-Nusra speeches continued to be loud on his Facebook page, saying that he would "expose the killers," holding them responsible for anything might happen to him in the future.

Turkish prosecutors say 'no concrete evidence of Ergenekon's presence'
Tales from the first gutting of Turkey’s army. Bunches of Turkey’s best generals, colonels, captains, and such have been sitting in jail for years, accused of being involved in this oddly named conspiracy. Only now it is finally being admitted that the bunches were telling the truth about not conspiring.
[Hurriyet Daily News] The prosecution of a court case involving a reported conspiracy to overthrow The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...Qatar's colony in Asia Minor....
’s government dating back a decade has said the existence of the organization in question could not be conclusively proven, according to judicial sources on Friday.

"It has been found that the leadership, membership and criminal activity could not be established of the organization, as well as its existence," the prosecutors said of the "armed terrorist organization Ergenekon", submitting its official opinion on the case.

"There is no concrete evidence of the presence of an Ergenekon terrorist organization, and thus a non-existent terrorist organization can neither have managers, members, or supporters, nor it is possible to commit crimes for it," said the prosecution.

Prosecutors asked for jail terms for 28 suspects in the Istanbul court, while recommending charges be dropped for 199 others.

Among the 28, four had received aggravated life sentences for the killing of a judge and wounding four others in a 2006 armed attack at Turkey's top administrative court.

The original Ergenekon conspiracy probe, dating to 2007, led to trials in 2013 of military officers, politicians, academics, and journalists, but later the Supreme Court of Appeals overturned hundreds of convictions in the case.

Last year, Ottoman Turkish authorities said the 2013 Ergenekon trial was based on fabricated evidence, and blamed the prosecutions on Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETÖ) member soldiers trying to purge the military of rival officers.

FETÖ and its U.S.-based leader Fetullah Gulen orchestrated the defeated coup on July 15, 2016, which left 251 people martyred and nearly 2,200 injured.

Ankara also accuses FETÖ of being behind a long-running campaign to overthrow the state through the infiltration of Ottoman Turkish institutions, particularly the military, police, and judiciary.

Europe
Worst riot in a decade engulfs Paris; Macron vows action Update: not just Paris
[DAWN] La Belle France's most violent urban riot in more than a decade engulfed some of central Gay Paree on Saturday as "yellow jacket" activists torched cars, smashed windows, looted stores and tagged the Arc de Triomphe with multi-coloured graffiti.

Protesters angry about rising taxes and the high cost of living clashed with French riot police, who closed off some of the city's most popular tourist areas and fired tear gas and water cannon as they tried to quell the mayhem in the streets. At least 113 people were maimed.

French President Emmanuel Macron denounced the violence from the G-20 summit in Argentina
...a country located on the other side of the Deep South. It is covered with Pampers and inhabited by Grouchos, who dance the Tangle. They used to have some islands called the Malvinas located where the Falklands are now. They're not supposed to cry for Evita...
, saying those who attacked police and vandalised the Arc de Triomphe will be "held responsible for their acts." He said he will hold an emergency government meeting Sunday on the protests.

"(Violence) has nothing to do with the peaceful expression of a legitimate anger" and "no cause justifies" attacks on police or pillaging stores and burning buildings, Macron said in Buenos Aires. He refused to answer any questions from journalists about the situation in Gay Paree.

It was the third straight weekend of festivities in Gay Paree involving activists dressed in the fluorescent yellow vests of a new protest movement and the worst urban violence since at least 2005.

The scene contrasted sharply with other protests in La Belle France, where demonstrations and road blockades elsewhere were largely peaceful Saturday.

The violence is Macron's biggest challenge so far as president, and even coloured his international image as he had to defend his plans for fuel tax rises the initial impetus for the protest movement to other leaders at the G-20 summit.
Update from The Local - France at 9:50 a.m. ET:
The violence seen during the 'yellow vest' protests on Saturday was not limited to Gay Paree, with stand-offs and festivities between police and protesters taking place across La Belle France, particularly in the south west.

A total of 136,000 anti-government protesters took part in the 'yellow vest' protests' in La Belle France on Saturday, including the 8,000 who wreaked havoc and destruction in the French capital.

According to the police in Marseille, the various demonstrators were made up of 300 yellow vests, 100 bikers and about 350 protesters called to action by the hard left CGT union to demand a change in government policy.

Brazil withdraws offer to host UN climate change summit
[Legal Insurrection] President-elect Bolsonaro';s choices for his new administration indicate a prosperity-oriented direction for Brazil.

The last time we checked on Brazil, Jair M. Bolsonaro, the nation's President-elect who is often referred to as the "Brazilian Trump," announced plans to move the country's embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Israel's capital, Jerusalem.

Now, in the mode of the American President, Brazil is canceling its plans to host a UN climate change summit.

Brazil has withdrawn its offer to host a large UN conference on climate change next year, the foreign ministry said Wednesday, leading environmental groups to question the government's commitment to reducing carbon emissions.

Brazil pulled its offer to host the 2019 climate change conference because of "the current fiscal and budget constraints, which are expected to remain in the near future," the foreign ministry said in a statement sent to The Associated Press.

Environmental groups interpreted the decision as a nod to President-elect Jair Bolsonaro, who promised during his campaign to pull Brazil out of the Paris accord on climate change.

As an extra bonus, and in keeping with his vision for the new, prosperity-oriented direction for his nation, Bolsonaro chose a Trump-admiring diplomat who claims climate change is a plot by 'cultural Marxists' as his new foreign minister.

Bolsonaro's pick of career diplomat Ernesto Araujo, 51, underscored Brazil's sharp turn to the right and the reversal of nearly a decade and a half of diplomacy under leftist Workers Party governments that focused on alliances with South American allies and ideological partners ‐ including Cuba.

...Araujo, a career diplomat, is currently head of the foreign ministry's United States and Canada department.

In his blog, Metapolitia Brasil, Araujo claims his goal is to "help Brazil and the world liberate themselves from globalist ideology".

In a post last month he writes: "This dogma has been used to justify increasing the regulatory power of states over the economy and the power of international institutions on the nation states and their populations, as well as to stifle economic growth in democratic capitalist countries and to promote the growth of China"

Araujo isn't the only appointment that has earned the ire of green justice activists.

His pick as agriculture minister is the head of the farming lobby, Tereza Cristina Dias, who conservationists have nicknamed the "Muse of Poison" due to her enthusiastic support for relaxing controls on agro-toxins.

She and her colleagues are said to be gutting the responsibilities of the environment ministry before its new head is appointed. The environment institution is likely to be so subservient that insiders joke there will soon be two agriculture ministries in Brazil.

I predict that Bolsonaro Derangement Syndrome should begin shortly.

UN plane to evacuate wounded Huthi rebels in Yemen: coalition
[JOURNALDUCAMEROUN] A UN plane will evacuate 50 maimed Huthi snuffies from Yemen’s rebel-held capital Sanaa on Monday as a "confidence building measure" ahead of planned peace talks in Sweden, a Saudi-led military coalition said.

"A UN chartered plane will arrive at Sanaa international airport Monday to evacuate 50 maimed combatants... three Yemeni doctors and a UN doctor, from Sanaa to Muscat," a coalition front man said in a statement carried by the official Saudi Press Agency.

The fate of maimed rebels had been a stumbling block to the start of a previous round of aborted peace talks in September.

The coalition agreed to facilitate the medical evacuations at the request of UN envoy Martin Griffiths for "humanitarian reasons" and as a "confidence building measure", the front man added.

Houthis on Thursday said they will attend UN-brokered peace talks in Sweden this week if guarantees to ensure they can leave home and return back are maintained.

Migrant caravan teen spotted digging under border fence
[NYPOST] This caravan migrant from El Salvador is seen digging his way to the US, tunneling under a metal fence at the Mexican border in Caliphornia, an impregnable bastion of the Democratic Party,, then racing back to Mexico after agents spotted him and a cohort Friday.

Cesar Jobet, 18, and Daniel Jeremias Cruz, 18, scooped away mud and dirt with their hands for about 15 minutes, American soil visible through slats in the fence, as agency photographers shot a series of them in action.

One photo shows Jobet upside down and halfway submerged in the tunnel, his legs and feet sticking straight up.

The two teens managed to make it across to the US side briefly, crossing from Playas de Tijuana into San Diego, according to the Agence La Belle France-Presse.

But they weren’t in the US for long.

Border patrol agents saw them ‐ and the teens bolted.

"No idea why he and Daniel ran, maybe just a rush adrenaline," the photographers, Pedro Pardo and Guillermo Arias, said in a joint statement to The Post.

After they returned to Mexico without being apprehended, Jobet and Cruz rejoined other members of their caravan, the third from El Salvador.

At a summit of the Group of 20 in Buenos Aires, the Ottoman Turkish leader took a firm tone on Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman
...Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia as of 2016....
(MBS).

Saudi Arabua has announced the detention of 18 nationals and vowed to probe the killing of Khashoggi, a royal confidant turned critic who was killed and dismembered when he visited the kingdom's Istanbul consulate on October 2, to handle paperwork for his planned wedding.

"It's essential that these people are tried in The Sick Man of Europe Turkey

"Whoever has ordered and implemented this violent crime should be found out at once. Unless the perpetrators are found out, the whole world and the Islamic community shall not be satisfied."

Erdogan said the Saudis have refused to help Ottoman Turkish prosecutors who sought information including the whereabouts of Khashoggi's body and the identities of accomplices said to have supported the visiting Saudi hit squad.

The Ottoman Turkish leader, who has been vying for influence in the region with Saudi Arabia, said he did "not wish to cause any damage" to the royal family.

Officials say humans - not Satan - behind flaming hole in Arkansas
[NYPOST] A fire that caused a mysterious burning hole in Arkansas in September was intentionally set, authorities say, and not the result of a meteorite, methane ‐ or work of the devil.

The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reported Sunday that Baxter County authorities used soil samples to identify various flammable chemicals typically found in paint thinners where a 12-foot-tall (3.6 meter) fire spurted from a hole in the ground and burned for around 40 minutes. Authorities say it may have been a prank.

Initial speculation ranged from serious, such as a possible leaking natural gas line, to far-fetched. Officials in Midway, about 120 miles (200 kilometers) north of Little Rock, easily dismissed suggestions that the fire was caused by Satan or a meteorite. No faulty utility or fuel lines were found in the area.

The Arkansas National Guard analyzed three soil samples and found two solvents: toluene and xylene. Wesley Stites, chemistry and biochemistry department chair at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, said both solvents can be found in household items, including paint thinners.

"That seems like the most plausible thing to me, that somebody dumped a quart of paint thinner down there and caught it on fire," Stites said.

In a Facebook post Saturday, Tyson denied an accusation that he groped a woman and he denied that he made sexual advances toward a production assistant when he invited her to share wine and cheese at his home. He apologized for making the production assistant feel uncomfortable.

"In any claim, evidence matters. Evidence always matters. But what happens when it’s just one person’s word against another’s, and the stories don’t agree? That’s when people tend to pass judgment on who is more credible than whom. And that’s when an impartial investigation can best serve the truth ‐ and would have my full cooperation to do so," he wrote.

He gave explanations for both accounts separately and concluded saying:

"Accusations can damage a reputation and a marriage. Sometimes irreversibly. I see myself as loving husband and as a public servant ‐ a scientist and educator who serves at the will of the public. I am grateful for the support I’ve received from those who continue to respect and value me and my work."

Patheos.com recently published accounts from two women who say that Tyson behaved in a sexually inappropriate manner toward them. Tyson was host of "Cosmos: Possible Worlds" on Fox in 2014 and a new edition of the series was to air on National Geographic next year.

Iranian navy launches stealth warship in the Gulf
[DAWN] Iran’s navy on Saturday launched a domestically made destroyer, which state media said has radar-evading stealth properties, as tensions rise with arch-enemy, the United States.

In a ceremony carried live on state television
... and if you can't believe state television who can you believe?
, the Sahand destroyer ‐ which can sustain voyages lasting five months without resupply ‐ joined Iran’s regular navy at a base in Bandar Abbas on the Gulf.

The Sahand has a flight deck for helicopters, torpedo launchers, anti-aircraft and anti-ship guns, surface-to-surface and surface-to-air missiles and electronic warfare capabilities, state television
... and if you can't believe state television who can you believe?
reported.

"This vessel is the result of daring and creative design relying on the local technical knowledge of the Iranian Navy... and has been built with stealth capabilities," Rear-Admiral Alireza Sheikhi, head of the navy shipyards that built the destroyer, told the state news agency IRNA.

Iran launched its first locally made destroyer in 2010 as part of a programme to revamp its navy equipment which dates from before the 1979 Islamic revolution and is mostly US-made.

Afghanistan
Militant involved in target killings eliminated in Lashkargah city
[Khaama (Afghanistan)] A Lion of Islam who was involved in murder has been eliminated during an operation of the Afghan forces in Lashkargah city, the placid provincial capital of Helmand
...an Afghan province populated mostly by Pashtuns, adjacent to Injun country in Pak Balochistan...
province.

The Ministry of Interior (MoI) in a statement said another accomplice of the Lion of Islam was also maimed during the same operation.

The statement further added that the murderous Moslems were involved in the murders of security personnel, tribal elders, and religious scholars.

According to the Ministry of Interior, the two murderous Moslems belonged to the group of Mullah Manan, the shadow governor of the Taliban
...the Pashtun equivalent of men...
in Helmand.

The Afghan forces also confiscated a weapon and a cycle of violence during the operation, the Ministry of Interior added.

The anti-government armed Lion of Islam groups including Talibs have not commented regarding the killing of Mullah Manan’s two murderous Moslems so far.

Helmand has been among the relatively volatile provinces in the South but the security situation in some of its districts has tanked sharply during the recent months.

Syria-Lebanon-Iran
The fading shadow of Iranian dominance
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Iran has always used ideological discourse as a tool to interfere in the internal affairs of Arab countries.
Compare that to the Ottomans of Turkey, who used swords and cannons to persuade the Arabs to accept their argument, dear Al Arabiya editorialist.
Ideological mobilization, supported by security and military systems along with religious and sectarian devices, have allowed the Iranian regime to expand its influence and control that are characterized by the ability to control the decisions of official authorities.

For a relatively long period, the regime was able to establish organizations and arms in these countries and linked their system of political interests to it. The ideological discourse provided a wide scope for the growth of these wings of influence overcoming national affiliation or identity.

U.S. Secretary Of Defense Mattis: When The U.S. President Asks You To Serve, You 'Just Do It'- Video. A Gift from GOD, This Man.
[War News Updates] Amid some speculation about whether Defense Secretary James Mattis will become the latest Trump administration official to exit what seems to be an ever-revolving door, the former four-star Marine Corps general is showing no public signs that he will step down anytime soon.

Asked at the Reagan National Defense Forum on Saturday if he had any plans to leave office, the secretary instead spoke about his love for U.S. troops and revealed once again a deep-seated duty to serve the country.

"When the President of the United States asks you to do something in America, you just do it. To quote Nike, 'Just Do It,'" Mattis told an audience at the Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, California.

Snipes Snaps! Rescinds Resignation, Vows to Fight Governor Scott’s Suspension
[THEGATEWAYPUNDIT] Snipes is set to receive $71,000 a year in a pension from her time serving as elections supervisor; she also has a separate pension from her time as a teacher.

Rick Scott issued an order to immediately remove crooked Brenda Snipes from office “for misfeasance, incompetence and neglect of duty.”

Snipes isn’t going away quietly.

NBC Miami reported:
Brenda Snipes’ attorney on Saturday said the recently suspended Broward County elections supervisor would rescind her resignation.

“We believe these actions are malicious, we believe that the allegations that are set forth in the governor’s executive order are done for the purposes of embarrassing Dr. Snipes – embarrassing her and tarnishing her record, and we will be fighting this. In addition to that, Dr. Snipes herby rescinds her resignation that was set forth which would have been effective on the fourth of January,” Snipes’ attorney Burnadette Norris-Weeks said in a press conference.

Brenda Snipes has a history of corruption and violating the law.

In this year’s midterm election, Broward County Democrats mysteriously manufactured 83,000 votes in two days!

On Election night on November 6th, Broward County Elections supervisor Brenda Snipes reported 634,000 votes were cast in the midterm election in her county.

On Friday morning Broward County Elections officials said 717,000 votes were cast in the midterm election in her county.

We still have no explanation for how Snipes came up with all of these extra votes – which were all in favor for the Democrats.

Texas mom decapitated her son and stuffed body in trash: cops
[NYPOST] A Texas mother drowned her 5-year-old son and decapitated him before stuffing his body in a trash can at their Houston home on Friday, police said.

Lihui Liu, 43, was incarcerated
Book 'im, Mahmoud!
Friday after the boy’s father discovered the 5-year-old’s headless body in a trash can in the garage of their home, the Houston Chronicle reported. Officers initially responded to a 911 call of a stabbing at the home around 7 p.m. Friday.

Police arrived at the scene to find the boy’s body in the garage partially covered with a plastic bag.

The boy’s father later told cops he came home from work and Liu told him she sent their son away. After he started looking for the boy, his wife allegedly admitted the child was in the trash can, the Houston Chronicle reported.

He found the body covered in a black bag inside the trash can along with the head. Police recovered a blood-soaked knife in the bathroom and blood splatter in the tub.

Liu was taken into custody, where she later admitted to drowning her son, but gave no further details of the decapitation.

The couple also has a 13-year-old daughter, but it’s unclear if she was in the house at the time of the slaying.

Liu was charged with murder and is expected to be back in court on Monday.

Man planned to assassinate Trump with a forklift: authorities
[NYPOST] A North Dakota man accused of plotting to use a forklift to flip over President Trump’s limo to "kill the president" pleaded guilty on Friday.

Gregory Lee Leingang, 42, was charged in federal court regarding his plan that revolved around Trump’s visit to Mandan, North Dakota, in September 2017, the Grand Forks Herald reported.

Trump was visiting the city, roughly 6 miles east of Bismarck, to give a speech on tax reform.

Leingang, according to U.S. Assistant State’s Attorney Brandi Sasse Russell, stole a forklift and entered Trump’s motorcade route after the president arrived in the city one afternoon.

"The intent was to basically try to get to the limo, flip the limo and get to the president and he wanted to kill the president," she said of Leingang.

Leingang tried to escape after the forklift got stuck in a gated area, according to reports. He was caught by local police and allegedly confessed his plan to authorities, including the U.S. Secret Service.

A public defender argued in court that Leingang was "suffering a serious psychiatric crisis during this incident," and reportedly set two fires earlier on the same day he stole the machinery.

Leingang was charged with one count of attempting to enter or remain in a restricted building and on grounds while using a dangerous weapon and one count of attempting to damage government property.

He entered a plea deal with federal prosecutors and was sentenced to five years in prison for stealing the forklift. He’s also serving time for pleading guilty to starting the fires and for a burglary case, and is expected to remain behind bars for decades.

A sentencing hearing for Leingang is scheduled for Feb. 15.
