#1 The US Army has selected the Sig Sauer P320 as its main service sidearm.

The question is whether it is more powerful than the current 9mm, otherwise why bother? (other than the usual graft aspect)

#2 The 320 is not a better weapon.
It is a easier/cheaper to maintain gun.

It is all about logistics, a MBA decision.

It's not a theoretical problem. That's the practical application of all federal legislation. Remember, a law enacted can always be changed by a future Congress - often for the worse. There is no need for more federal restrictions. If your traveling to other states take a few minutes to familiarize yourself with their laws. If you don't like said laws you can choose not to go there. I think they call it Federalism?
