#1 22 dead? No, I am sure that the Port Said soccer fans are as innocent as the driven snow. ;-)

#2 A few low level Egyptian Air Force F-16 gun runs coupled with surgical convoys of new Abrams tanks should convince the crowds to return to their homes.

#4 Funny, yes, but a remarkable measure of the apparent rage threshold and critical mass of the crowd. As manipulated as we can be by the media, imagine maintaining special interest groups near this level of agitation while inducing periodic pressure releases, like this, to incite others.
With a kernel of 22, what's the social grouping size around that, 4-7:1? Big enough to promote 2 rage-ivists each I think. The 200 injured is a softer number but delivers a more persistant, slow burning fan-anger. Look for another bump if someone introduces a set of constraining behavior rules.

#5 From PJ Media, the suggestion that this is a sign Egypt is on the cusp of becoming ungovernable for Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood.

#7 Gromky - Mil-Speak, more or less.
What Skid is saying, more or less, is that it's remarkable that the population's anger level has been maintained as high as it has been for so long.
In other words, somebody is very, very good at agitation.
