according to the AP they were both retarded; however, there is no good reason to take this last claim at face value since while witnesses may reasonably be able to determine gender or suicide bombers, they can't determine who is retarded

it is also possible they were trying to redeem themselves from 'disgracing' their family honor

#11 I wonder if this is the 'retaliation' for zapping Abu Laith al-Libi the other day. Al Quaeda does have a track record of making some kind of big bloody mess as soon as they can after one of their 'bigs' gets hit. If so, then it should not be long before these blasts are found to be 'Bush's fault'.
