#1 This will really wad the eco-panties in the Pac NW: for 2 years or more they have been railing (no pun intended) against the BNSF railroad and the Gateway Terminal for building a coal loading terminal that would generate a need for 18 trains a day from Powder River Basin coal fields for exporting all that coal to China. They are concerned about the burning of the coal and how that will impact the air quality in the US and want that as part of the EIS for the terminal project. So it will be interesting to see how they spin this.
