#1 What is inexplicable about the western media ignoring what Mugabe's comrades are doing the Anglicans? Mugabe is one of the media's creations and success stories : they got him into power and have kept him there. Nothing that would disrupt the narrative is allowed, just like when they ignored his thugs torturing and murdering political opponents, until the stench of it got so bad that it had to be reported.

#2 Besides, were it acknowledged, then something would have to be done, by people who desperately don't want to do anything about real evil. They'll happily condemn Israel for something though, as soon as they think of the next thing to condemn them for.
