Medal Count

If you look down the list you will see "TPE"
with 2 golds. That odd flag is the flag of the Taiwan Olympic Committee. The mainland has a "Fred Sanford" (Elizabeth , I comin' to join ya') moment at the sight of the Taiwan (Rep of China) flag, so the Taiwan gov't compromised so that the athletes could compete.
