BRICS alliance expanding, seven members of the previously existing G20 trade group are now members of the BRICS group. The influence of the G20 is diminishing and the BRICS group is gaining strength.

#1 G20 is washed up, and the US/EU/West did it to themselves. Xi didn't attend, and the Chinese had no interest meeting "Biden".

In fact, I believe even Mexico wants to join BRICS.

A year ago or so, G20 voted unanimously (read: incl. China, Russia) for a global vaccine passport. How nice.

#2 India and China were happy to stay in the G20 to watch the EU and US's mutual economic suicide pact over 'climate whatever'. Now the pretense has worn thin.

#3 Xi didn't attend

Because India and China are enemies. Nothing to do with America.

#4 In fact, I believe even Mexico wants to join BRICS.

Does that mean Mexico will start send illegal aliens and fentanyl to the BRICS countries?

#5 G20 Woke is Broke. And Brics are third world banana republics and authoritarians dictatorships with debt ratio's that eclipse the West. All around, shit sandwiches for everyone. Is one shit sandwich better than the next? Probably not.

#6 I'm no expert, but I don't think Mexico could join BRICS before getting out of NAFTA. As the US is a huge trading partner for Mexico, I don't see it happening.

#7 Mexico runs a $100+ billion/year trade surplus w/ the US. BRICS countries wouldn't tolerate such a hit to their economies.
