#4 I wondered the same thing about F & F firearms. That would be another can of worms for this administration.
The border patrol had some of the best man trackers in the world although the institutional memory for tracking seems to be waning--probably because of the flood of immigrants coming across the border who mess up the scene for "sign-cutting." There are still some old-timers in the U.S. who do this well.
