#2 A cleric delivering his Friday sermon in a state-run mosque in the Mediterranean city of Alexandria warned Christians against demanding a new law to ease restrictions on building churches and accused them of seeking foreign protection. Another cleric urged Egyptians to protect the military against protesters. The Muslim Brotherhood said now is not the time for Christians to press demands.

My now: the Brotherhood really are working the moderate angle these days, aren't they? They sound like the DNC.

#3 But ... but ...this was supposed to be The Arab Spring, sweetness and light, a real democracy, not like the reactionary/centrist/radical version controlled by Wall Street.

Not unlike the vision of those who voted for hope-and-change in 2008 and became disillusioned in 2010.

#6 Fear not, I'm sure they'll turn to radical islam to fill the void, sooner or later.
