#3 Agreed, but reading the article, it sounds like they're tired of constantly getting walked over by the Russians. It might be chest thumping more than anything else.

#4 In the past we all played these games during the cold war. When you were caught you were caught. Russians no longer wish to admit they are caught so the Swedes are calling them out with a bit of a threat that the rules of the game seperate the game from actual war.

#8 The Sweeds can thump their chest all they want, but if they blow up a Russian sub they will have hell to pay. (And I will look away as their non-allied sissy ass pays the bill.)

The Sweeds need to transition to a rescue posture and get those Russian sailors out of that broken tin can. Sure, Vlad will impale the captain after he scuttles his boat. But that is not the Sweeds' problem.
