#3 If true, it shows that Mr. Obama's administration has placed itself between a rock and a hard place. The Turks are needed for Syria and possibly Iran; Erdogan's ego is being stroked by involving his government with Gaza. And if Debka is accurate, the Turks are once again angling to become the de facto Islamic power in the region.
In any case, the message from all the parties appears to be: "Mr. Obama, we've reserved a nice place for your country at the kid's table."
