Indulge me for a moment: Let's say you suspect that Mosques are being used as storage/staging areas for terrorist attacks and want to search them. However, if you DO search them, you have a good chance of sparking riots. Soooo, how to get in?

Psychological Ju Jitsu: circulate a "credible" rumor of a bomb attack AGAINST a mosque. They'll fall for this, since it appeals to that "We'll get you back the way you got us" mentality that they have, and thus invariably project on everyone else they consider an enemy. They fall all over themselves allowing the police to conduct the bomb search, since it would provide evidence for their contention that "the world hates Islam."

Of course, you probably got that,since you said "HIDING" instead of "booming".
