#4 Throwing good money after bad is poor business, but I bet for another couple mil, you could hire some 'private contractors' to go explain to the parties involved why it is bad manners to kidnap reporters. Hell, I bet Old Spook knows some guys who would do it for a plane ticket and the cost of ammunition.

#6 For a very brief period of time today, Drudge reported Murdoch as saying that this claim is 100% bogus (or words to that effect), but now it's gone and I can't find it anywhere.

I would keep in mind that the source of this claim is "senior terror leaders" from the Popular Resistance Committees and Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade, and reported by World Nut Daily. I'm skeptical.
