#5 At least in the Sinai the Egyptians are hindering those caching weapons, rather than helping. "War by proxy" elsewhere.

#6 TW; I bet if you could look at the Egyptians dance card, you would find that these 'discoveries' are all window dressing. Sort of like our Border patrol; just find enough to keep major heat off.
