#6 What else do they have to give their lives meaning? Not a prosperous society, not a representative and funtional government presiding over an economy (of any kind), not learning and exploration, not living quiet lives or creating objects of beauty or .....

Nope, death is the one thing they can aspire to achieve. And comradship towards death, along the way.

#7 Gaza on war footing as Israel declares it "enemy"

What's different? They already call for Israel's destruction in their charter, they've stockpiled weapons for years, they have alliances with Iran and Syria and they shoot rockets into Israel. What more do they need to do to be on a "war footing?"

What is it with the way these goons pre-snark the articles for us? Do they even suspect that Israel might not invade at all yet still cause one helluva massacre? Simple artillery shelling will kill them just a surely as a bullet.

Which doesn't do much to explain how Israel and America consistently kick Islamic hiney to tiny little pieces. Then again, no one in their right mind ever said the Palestinians were the least bit contaminated by even a scintilla of logic or reason. God may well be at their side but that sure looks like a hickory switch in His hand.

and if the piles of sand were along the streets wouldn't they make lovely improvised dikes for another sewer 'splosion and the resulting flow would wash away all the shit (wearing brightly colored headbands)?
