 File under: Hamas

#1 Leaders of the Christian community condemned the assault and appealed to Hamas to make an effort to protect Christians.

In other news, capable fox sought to protect henhouse.

#2 He would not have dared to do the same thing to a Muslim woman.

And thus has spread Islam over the centuries.

#5 Notice that this is in the Jerusalem Post. It just doesn't show up most anywhere else.

I'd bet that most Christians, of all persuasions, don't even know this is happening. And what irks me is that those who know bits and pieces of it blame Israel's policies. The fact is, and has been, that this is not political. It's religious.

#6 Well they expressed concern anyway.

'Hmmm, our people are robbing the infidels'.
'Yes, perhaps our people need money'.
'Hmmm' !

#7 I'd bet that most Christians, of all persuasions, don't even know this is happening.

And I'd wager a tidy sum that you're right. Christianity had better wake up damn fast if it wants to survive. While Pope Benedict has made note of Islam's iniquity, his has largely been a voice in the wilderness compared to the thundering denunciation that is called for.

Much like the deafening silence of "moderate" Muslims, Christianity's own mute response to Islam's assault upon all other faiths will soon begin to condemn it for inaction. The ever-powerful Catholic Church would be well-advised to use its great office in seeking an inter-faith alliance with all other peaceful religions so that a united front can be erected against Islam's predations. Anything less will eventually become a betrayal of self and others in the face of Muslim desecration.

#8 Christianity had better wake up damn fast if it wants to survive.

Christ works quietly. That is the power of Christianity. Little did anyone know of dozens of Korean Christians in Afghanistan until the recent hostage situation. However, if you want to see a powerful example of Christians at work against Islamist extremists, look at 150,000 American troops (many, many of which are valiant Christian military soldiers) taking out the thugs, as Psalm 91 said they would.

In otherwords, no fear, God IS with us.

#9 Attacked an 80 year old Christian lady?
Man, I'll bet that'll impress the chicks. Of course, in the story she'll be an IDF paratrooper...

#10 Little did anyone know of dozens of Korean Christians in Afghanistan until the recent hostage situation.

And little do we know just how many of our soldiers are going to be murdered by weapons bought with the $2,000,000 ransom that "Christian" South Korea paid to our Taliban enemies. Better that we had blown the terrorists and their idiot hostages straight to hell.

#11 Korea denied paying 2 Million in ransom. It is un-Christian to kill women. Clearly you are not a Christian Zenster.

#13 Korea denied paying 2 Million in ransom.

And the Taliban just magically allowed their hostages to go free? If you believe that, I've got a bridge to sell you.

It is un-Christian to kill women.

So is it also "un-Christian" to finance terrorism. Try to keep in mind that Islamic terrorists are killing Christians around the world on a daily basis. Some two dozen Koreans foolish idiotic enough to enter a Muslim-ruled country hardly count against the hundreds being killed each week or month. $2,000,000 is going to help kill a lot more than 20 soldiers, many of whom will likely be Christians themselves. Better that the 20 Koreans were left to the mercy of their captors than finance another entire season of terrorism in Afghanistan.

From this point on we'll call you 'Waco', Zenster.

Please don't burden yourself by recalling that—however botched the Waco raid might have been—there was still historical evidence that David Koresh was sexually abusing children in the compound. Perish the thought. You'll have to come up with something a whole lot better than that if you want to insult me.

Q: Guess who finally quit smoking?

A: David Koresh!
