#8 You would think that their command and control structure would have to exist outside the theater for them to continue operions. I think it's pretty obvious where that structure exists for the Taliban. I wouldn't think that there would be much difficulty or downside to infiltrating and neutralizing that type of structure if it were in Syria. If we are headed with conflict with Iran, it would be good to have a identified likely nexi for this actvities for early action. The same goes for if Musaref falls. I can't think of anything that would prevent us from taking action in SWAT, if Pakistan is already destabilized.
