#1 The men, members of a clan allied to Fatah, were allowed into Israel after fighting left nine dead on Saturday.

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, who heads Fatah, told Israel not to transfer them to the West Bank, as he had earlier requested.

#3 Interesting situation here for the 'human rights' community. On one hand this seems a good opportunity for them to blame Israel for violating International convention. However, to do so requires acknowledging that Hamas will torture or kill political opponents.

#5 well an ISRAELI human rights group has already gone to court to keep them from being sent back. Of course THEY have no problem acknowledging that Hamas tortures opponents.
