#2 The Algerians still haven't learned to include a couple of "gun wagons" in their convoys. When they do, ambushes will become a good way for the "terrorists" to die. The US uses Bradleys, but even a fairly well-armored ten-ton truck will work. Just mount a few machine guns in the cargo bed, put armor plate around them and the driver to keep the operators safe, and return fire when fired upon. The NVA hated the ones we used in Vietnam.
