#1 I hope the BASIC group's actions or threat of actions throws Copenhagen off the rails. I get the distinct feeling that many view this meeting as the birth of a world government. A gathering of demons as it were.

#3 Whiskey Mike you are exactly right. This is why the water-melons could switch so easily between crying wolf over global cooling, global warming and climate change.

It was never really about the environment but about the creation of a Tranzi oligarchy which is why the main item on the agenda will be a global tax scheme envisioned as a way to break the capitalist system. The proposed energy tax scheme will work just like the elastic clause in our constitution and give them the opening to control all economic transactions of any kind.

We seem to be rapidly approaching the time when either the tree of liberty needs to be watered again, or the experiment of a government of, by and for the people will perish from the earth.
