#1 Danish politics is, well, foriegn to me. So I looked up this "extreme right" Danish Peoples Party. Their key policies as listed on wikipedia, and all of these policies seem sensible to me. I don't think of myself as extreme right. I am, if anything, pretty mainsteam, even if I think the left are a fairly silly bunch. In part, that is because anyone who doesn't want to play along with their agenda is labelled as "extreme".

#2 Northern Europe's moving rightward as Barry-run America moves leftward. Budget cuts and fiscal responsibility there, and impending bankruptcy here. Increased resistance to islamist nutters there, increased dhimmitude here.

Maybe it's time for Americans to start learning from their cousins in northern Europe.
