#7 Couple of centuries? Mohammedan society, if you exclude the Western influence, is closer to the Old Testament in character.

In other words, Bronze Age Caanan, 3000 years ago.

They're still worshiping Abraham's footprint outside the Kaaba, and who knows what inside.
