#4 The militants were aged 48 and 25 and had been using the pseudonyms Abu Bakr and Mansoor Ahmed. It is believed one of the men was originally called Steve.

Both were from alcoholic fathers, broken homes, had attended Harvard, held law degrees, and toured in the region as students.

I wouldn't think so, FrozenAl, given that they were merely driving through the lovely winter landscape of Datta Khel, Pakistan, at the time, not actively engaged in jihading against the infidels. Not much different than tripping over one's own feet in a drunken stupor and drowning in a nearby ditch. Although no doubt their friends and relations made all sorts of dramatic claims when the few recoverable bits were buried in a common grave.
