#4 Im cynical. I think Osama assumed room temperature a long time ago, and was stashed in a cooler to keep until he was politically useful. Its been a rough week for Hussein, so OBL is useful to him now

But, as I said, Im cynical. Im sure its all just a coincidence.

#5 Maybe there is something in that, gr(o)m. I mean, it was known where he was, he was under surveillance, the order was given. It is good timing for BO: that won't affect the US much. Mainly because Congress must soon approve a new debt ceiling or the Government won't be able to pay anybody. Now is a good time to shore up support for the US dollar / put more faith in the ability of the US GOvernment. The dollar is sliding fast and buyers must be found for bonds (ex the Fed) or the bills won't be paid soon.

Or conversely maybe it was time to get Bin Laden because the cash is running out and soon perhaps the troops must come home? Get him while you can?

I don't know. And really, I don't think I care much either except to wish good things upon the US. I am just happy that POS is dead. Dead dead dead.

So i don't care about timing or anything else. There are only two options: on or off, zero or one. Alive or dead. I prefer Bin Laden to be dead.
