Not 'immunity', just first crack at prosecuting. Same Status of Forces agreements we have worldwide. The American military has a pretty good record compared to nearly all other nations in hammering those in its ranks that violate law.

Point is, BHO is trying to spin this as honorable, glorious, committed, selfless follow-through on a campaign promise, when in fact his plan was exactly the opposite, until SOFA negotiations fell through, and the other guy at the table was rude enough to speak up and remind everyone that the reality was a bit different.

Just sayin. I just enjoy it when reality bites leftists in the ass.
