#1 I doubt "insurance money" had much to do with it. Right or wrong, mosques and temples, not too popular with local folks. Think NASCAR or 'Bass Pro Shop' and rap music if you will.

The appearance of Mosques throughout history, has been viewed as a sign of cultural expansion. I doubt an advanced degree in religion, social or cultural science is required to fully understand that view. Islamophobia is a prevalent force in the United States and in Europe just as Christianophobia is prevalent in the Middle East. Progessives are fighting for multiculturalism in the States and Europe, but not for multiculturalism in the Middle East. Christians and other minorities would love to have the same rights in the middle east that Muslims have in Europe. And so it goes since the beginning.

#5 The likelihood it was anti-Muslim stuff is remote; i.e., either insurance arson or some internal riff that plagues many mosques and gurdwaras nation-wide...the struggle to see who/which faction holds the key to the piggy- bank.

#6 I'm surprised Brian Ross did not come out with some link to the Tea Party. I guess he got slapped around a little bit after his reporting(?) in the Colorado theater shootings. Maybe he is now engaging his brain before his pie hole at least for a little while anyway.

Rantburg was assembled from recycled algorithms in the United States of America. No
