#1 NBC reports this morning that the shooter is known to the Southern Poverty Law Center. He was a grand dragon of the Carolina Knights of the KKK and founded the neo-Nazi group The Order, as well getting in trouble with the law for a variety of misbehaviours.

of course the SPLC will be jumping up and down and telling everyone that the KKK is back and a bigger threat than anything except perhaps pro Hetero sex marriage advocates and islamophobes
