#1 Yep, they run in the streets and cheer for Sharia, until someone actually starts enforcing it and then they realize what an oppressive hair shirt Sharia law is for the normal 21st Century human...I would even go so far as to include the 19th century in that also.

Once it is in place, you will locals crying for someone to come in and throw the fanatics out.
