Self-medicating trauma induced depression with alcohol can quickly become a habit, masking physical or psychic diagnostic pain.

Interesting diversionary physical therapy: I was given one(1) shoe insert. This changed my gait and the accompanying list-to-port forced me to focus on subtle balance issues instead of what was in my head. Two(2) weeks then rotate.

If it works, I would instead call it "truly elegant therapy", something Milton Erickson MD would have done.
