#2 Now me, every time I look at a map of the world I notice those great aching empty spaces in Canada and Alaska. Not to mention N. Dakota and Nebraska, Finland and Sweden. Plus the great sweeps of Siberia. Empty real estate, all too cold to live in.

If you ask me, a bit of global warming is just what the world needs. The climate activists should be up there spreading coal dust on the ice fields on northern Canada, and the ice pack of the north pole. Speed this whole thing up a bit! :-)

#3 DLR, I remember from 30 years ago the Chicken Littles screaming about seeding the oceans with Iron, IIRC, to promote algae growth to stop the ice age they were all clucking about.
