#2 A good portion of the Yemeni armed forces are standing with the Houthi friends of their erstwhile president, and therefore against the current president and his friends the Saudis. So it's safe enough to assume that some on the Houthi-army team can indeed pilot full size airplanes.

As per #2, there's still no evidence the Saudi airstrikes have been effective in stopping the Houthi advance.

It increasingly appears that a Saudi ground offensive, wid consequence in likely Iran mil intervention, will be needed, espec as neither side(s) or camp(s) wants to be involved in protractive quagmire.
