Sorry, no. Indian father, Pakistani mother. Born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, but from the age of two grew up in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Came back to the U.S. for university, where she was very active in the Muslim Student Association (Muslim Brotherhood youth branch).
