#3 Being a Christian missionary is deadly business in some parts of the world. I like how the missionaries from Spain went about their work in the New World centuries ago surrounded by Indian savages. They built "missions" which were actually forts that protected themselves and converts. A few Texan militia fended off thousands of Mexican army troops for weeks at one, the Alamo.
