#1 They need a law making it illegal to shoot someone with an illegal gun. And while they're at it, they should make a law that criminals have to obey the law. That's really the crux of the problem, isn't it?

#4 Perhaps Chicago's strict gun control prevents their criminals from getting much range time, and thus keeps the fatality rate per shooting down.

#6 They have very strict gun laws, but they don’t enforce them, at least on the criminal class. Thus, they have no gun control for criminals.

The Chicago machine has an arrangement with the gangs to tolerate a level of criminality. In return, the gangs turn out the vote.

That protest was not aimed at gang-bangers. It was aimed at law abiding citizens. You, whose firearms have never been used for a crime of any sort, are the enemy...
