What's brave about that? Try trapping aboard a carrier in C-2 Greyhound. Now, that's freaky deaky. Or flying off the carrier in a Chinook. Chinook pilots BTW are all (EVERYONE OF THEM) certifiably insane.

#4 Re: HS: Trapped and catted in a greyhound, and that was right after the crash of one due to unsecured load and massive CG shift ( video on you tube; still painful to watch, mercifully, it stops short of the splash, but not until the stall/descent is well establsihed).
and multiple lauches in variety of rotary winged aircraft, some inot peas soup fog so thick that @ 60 feet, the flight deck ceased to exist....flying by Braille.

but no Osprey for me either!
