#3 He plundered money out of SpaceX to build a tunnel and MAYBE to buy Teslas with and there's reportedly a semi-revolt of SpaceX investors underway.

There's probably many facilities large enough to build Starship on the Gulf Coast where it could be barged to Matagorda... just off the top of my head, there's Michoud...
