#9 1964 Peacekeeping mission in Cyprus is still ongoing. Some places are broken and will never get fixed, and Haiti would be the poster-child for this.

Haiti is a failed nation state and NOT a part of the United States, despite the Clinton's efforts. Aside from graft and corruption, there is not a single national security interest of the United States that warrants US involvement!
