#3 Choppers don't fly. They hang on the transmission. There's nothing graceful or halfway about a chopper in a "mishap". Any "mishap" which hurts nearly two dozen guys is going to result in at least half a dozen medical retirements with permanent aids of one kind or another and likely death for some.
