#3 Supposedly the Russians have 150,000 men in the Bakhmut-Kreminna-Svatove-Kupyansk front. 50,000 in Bakhmut alone. The speculation was that the Russians would launch an offensive from Luhansk toward Kharkiv once the Ukrainians committed their 10 or so brigades to the offensive.

As opposed to the bullshit we get from American mainstream media?

I understand that MacGregor is only a retired colonel but he makes more sense to me than Mark Milley, Lloyd Austin, Tony Blinken or Joe Biden.

In what way is this war anything but an unmitigated catastrophe for both Ukraine and Russia?

Why did we need to expand NATO into Ukraine? What was the expected benefit to that?

#6 McGregor makes the old Soviet claim of combat losses amounting to 20 million (plus 19 million civilian deaths), when, after the fall, the newly minted Russian ministry of defense said their losses from all causes amounted to 11 million.

Former Soviet officers likely are feeding him his information.
