#2 Airbase near Novgorod (650km from Ukraine) attacked. Russians acknowledge 1 Tu-22M3 Backfire bomber damaged. From the huge smoke column, the Backfire is more than damaged and there may be more than one of them. Russians claim airbase was attacked by helicopter type UAV, implying local saboteurs or guerillas.

#4 Story is bogus.

The Yahoo.com story mentions the Russian MoD as saying the attack took place, yet I can find no reference to the attack neither on the Russian MoD website, nor Russian socialist media.

🤬 ❗Presumably, a burning Tu-22M3 at the Soltsy airfield in the Novgorod region, which was attacked yesterday by a Ukrainian drone.

The Ministry of Defense claimed damage to one aircraft during the attack. However, apparently, the Tu-22M3 was completely destroyed.

There are no shelters or canopies for the missile carrier.
