#1 No one has bothered to report on who is financing this war. If history is used, the Sudanese army composed of Nile River Arabs is likely being financed by its traditional allies, China and Iran. The RSF must be receiving support from the Gulf states through Libya and Chad, the traditional sources of arms for western Sudan. As long as the suppliers hold on this war will last for quite some time.
Update: The RSF is bombing Nyala and South Darfur because Arab Misseriya and Rizayqat have fled the province. The RSF must now be poised to attack North Darfur, and if it can take El Fasher the Sudan Military will have lost control of western Sudan and the country will be divided once again.

#3 One of the lesser known events involving US special forces was its activity in Chad when Muamar Qadafi and his so-called Arab Legion was on the prowl. US backed Toubous in their desert chariots, Toyota trucks with mounted machine guns, just raised hell with the Libyan. Who knows, what is happening these days?
