In some ways, a mirroring of the early Mafia techniques of intimidation and cultural resistance to assimilation.

Minnesota demonstrates their organizational movement into political power and the linkage to the wider Muslim power centers withing the demokrat party.

Because everything is free to them and there is almost zero consequences to their crimes and grifting. Our local state media stations here REFUSE to report on anything including apartment blown up in a local bomb making effort. Even the state fire marshal hid that one.

IF I recall... there was some Minnesota church group that 'rescued' five Somali boys (all brothers?) from some Somali-related event. People made a big deal about it, cue the Free Stuff, it became a movie, and suddenly going to Minneapolis was a thing.

There’s a historic immigration pattern in America — and in Israel, too — where the first individuals of a group end up somewhere and settle down, then write home and tell others to come join them. Pull migration is, I believe, the technical term.

As SteveS relates, a few were welcomed and made much of in Minneapolis, so the rest followed.
