[IsraelTimes] Cops filmed hitting anti-Israel activists and supporters with batons and dragging them on floor. Violence comes days after global outcry, including from Madrid, over Ben Gvir’s taunting of bound, kneeling detainees
Spanish police on Saturday detained four people at Bilbao airport following festivities that broke out after activists from a Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with a rusty iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. Police were filmed hitting people with batons and dragging them across the floor, before detaining them.
Video of the incident showed supporters gathered in the arrivals hall to welcome six of the anti-Israel campaigners as they arrived on a flight from The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...the occupiers of Greek Asia Minor... after having been detained and deported by Israeli forces.
When a relative of one of the activists tried to approach them, a police officer forcefully prevented him from doing so, leading to violent mostly peaceful scuffles, public broadcaster TVE reported.
Images broadcast by the station show police striking people with batons at the airport and pinning others to the ground while being jeered by onlookers.
Four people were arrested for serious disobedience, resisting arrest and assaulting law enforcement officers, the Basque regional police force, the Ertzaintza, says in a statement.
"Following what happened at the airport, the Ertzaintza internal affairs division has launched an investigation to determine whether the officers’ conduct complied with procedures," it added.
Sharing a video of officers beating and detaining the activists, Israel’s Foreign Ministry said: "We demand an explanation from the Spanish government regarding its treatment of the flotilla anarchists."
The incident came after National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir sparked a diplomatic incident on Wednesday over a video he released showing him taunting the activists as they were forced to kneel on the floor with their hands bound. The video triggered an international outcry, with dozens of countries condemning Israel’s treatment of the detained activists.
Spain, which has led Europa ...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum... in anti-Israel policy and rhetoric over the past several years, issued one of the sharpest condemnations of Ben Gvir’s behavior and called on the European Union ...the successor to the Holy Roman Empire, only without the Hapsburgs and the nifty uniforms and the dancing... to suspend its trade agreement with Israel.
The Spanish government did not immediately comment on the incident at the Bilbao airport.
Relations between Spain and Israel have plummeted since Madrid began heavily criticizing Jerusalem over the Gaza war sparked by Hamas ..a contraction of the Arabic words for "frothing at the mouth",... ’s October 7, 2023, terror atrocities in Israel.
Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez has called Israel’s subsequent military campaign against Hamas in Gaza a "genocide" — a charge that Israel firmly denies.
Israel recalled its ambassador after Madrid recognized a Paleostinian state in 2024, while Spain permanently recalled its own ambassador to Israel in March 2026.
[IsraelTimes] CHP chair Ozgur Ozel was ousted by an appeals court that many say was aimed at neutralizing the party ahead of the next election
Police stormed the offices of The Sick Man of EuropeTurkey ...just another cheapjack Moslem dictatorship, brought to you by the Moslem Brüderbund... ’s main opposition CHP party on Sunday, firing tear gas and rubber bullets at a crowd of party supporters and officials gathered outside the gates.
It was a violent mostly peaceful end to a standoff that had been going on for several hours between members of the Republican Peoples’ Party, or CHP, and its new court-appointed leadership.
Footage taken by local media in the courtyard and inside the building shows huge clouds of tear gas with riot police storming through the premises, before journalists were removed by the police. Correspondents who had been in the building during the raid reported that doors and furniture were destroyed.
Tension had been rising since Thursday, when an appeals court nullified Ozgur Ozel’s November 2023 election as party chairperson, suspending him and members of the party’s executive board.
The ruling said he should be replaced by Kemal Kilicdaroglu, his predecessor, who led the party for 13 years but never won any national elections.
Meanwhile,
...back at the comedy club, Boogie sadly admitted that he was a better peeping Tom than he was a comedian... Ozel, in his first and only election as party leader, delivered a decisive blow to President His Enormity, Sultan Recep Tayyip Erdogan the First ...Turkey's version of Mohammed Morsi but they voted him back in so they deserve him. It's a sin, a shame, and a felony to insult the president of Turkey. In Anatolia did Recep Bey a stately Presidential Palace decree, that has 1100 rooms. That's 968 more than in the White House, 400 more than in Versailles, and 325 more than Buckingham Palace, so you know who's really more important... ’s ruling Justice and Development Party in the 2024 municipal polls.
The opposition says the decision was politically motivated to weaken the party as it struggles under waves of legal cases targeting its members and elected officials.
The next presidential election is due in 2028, but Erdogan can call for an early vote. His main challenger, Istanbul Mayor Ekrem Imamoglu, a CHP member, has been imprisoned since March last year and is on trial on corruption charges.
Many observers have said the legal cases against the CHP — mostly centered on corruption allegations — are aimed at neutralizing the party ahead of the next election. The government insists that Turkey’s courts are impartial and act independently of political pressure.
The vast majority of the party has rallied behind Ozel. He and most of the party have been inside the CHP headquarters in the capital Ankara since Thursday’s ruling, with the new administration unable to enter. The rival teams were supposed to meet Sunday afternoon to figure a way out of the impasse.
Local media reported that a crowd showed up outside the office that Ozel claimed were not CHP members but were sent to intimidate. Police presence had been steadily growing since morning, and Kilicdaroglu’s lawyer, Celal Celik, sent a request to Ankara police to assist in vacating the building. The Ankara Governor’s office released a statement approving the request.
Erdogan has ruled Turkey, first as prime minister and then as president, since 2003. His electoral record suffered a setback in 2019, when the CHP seized control of several major cities in local elections.
In Istanbul, Imamoglu emerged as a popular and charismatic figure who many felt could successfully topple Erdogan.

The IDF says Southern Command forces struck and destroyed multiple Hamas weapons storage sites in central Gaza in recent days.
Over the past 24 hours, three Hamas depots were hit and destroyed.
Weapons found inside included:
• Anti-tank rockets
• Long guns
• RPGs
• Military vests
• Additional combat equipment
In a separate strike earlier this week, the IDF destroyed another Hamas weapons depot containing explosive devices, RPG launchers, hand grenades, and magazines.
The IDF says these weapons were intended to target Israeli forces operating near the Yellow Line and Israeli civilians.
Secondary explosions were seen after the strikes, indicating the presence of stored weapons.
The IDF says its forces remain deployed in the area according to the agreement and will continue acting to remove any immediate threat.
The al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir el-Balah reported it had received the bodies of a couple and their infant after an Israeli strike hit a residential apartment in the al-Nuseirat camp before dawn.
The hospital said around 10 people were maimed in the strike.

Gaza remains gripped with daily violence despite a formal ceasefire in place since October, with both the Israel Defense Forces and Hamas accusing one another of violating the truce.
The military, meanwhile, said on Sunday that it struck and destroyed several Hamas weapons storage facilities in central Gaza over recent days, but it did not comment about the three deaths.
According to the military, three weapons warehouses hit Saturday contained anti-tank missiles, firearms, RPGs, vests and other combat equipment.
A separate strike on Wednesday destroyed another Hamas weapons depot containing bombs, RPG launchers, hand grenades and ammunition magazines, the IDF said.
The military added that secondary explosions were identified following the strikes, indicating the presence of weapons inside the depots.
The IDF says it carries out strikes to thwart imminent attacks or in situations where there is a threat to troops.
At least 890 Paleostinians have been killed since the ceasefire, according to Gaza’s health ministry, which operates under Hamas authority and does not distinguish between civilians and combatants.
Four IDF soldiers have been killed in attacks by Gazooks over the same period. A fifth soldier was killed in a friendly fire incident.
Israel launched the war in Gaza following the October 7, 2023 Hamas massacre that killed some 1,200 people and saw another 251 taken hostage.
[IsraelTimes] Mojtaba Kian is convicted of sharing information related to Iran’s defense capabilities during the nearly 40-day Israel-US war with the Islamic Republic
Iran ...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. They hate JewsZionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol... on Sunday hanged a man convicted of espionage, the judiciary said, the first known execution for a spying offense committed during the most recent war with Israel and the United States.
"Mojtaba Kian... who sent information related to the country’s defense industry units to the enemy, was hanged early this morning," the judiciary’s Mizan Online website reported.
It said he shared information related to Iran’s defense capabilities during the nearly 40-day war.
The execution is the first directly linked to spying offences carried out during the war, which broke out on February 28 when US-Israeli strikes killed senior Iranian leaders, triggering retaliatory attacks by Tehran across the region.
Israel and the US launched the war in a bid to destabilize the regime and destroy Iran’s nuclear and missile programs.
Since the start of the conflict, Iran has stepped up executions for spying or collaborating with Israel and the US, although before Sunday, all those hanged were sentenced for offenses carried out before the war.
According to Mizan, Kian "sent multiple messages to hostile networks affiliated with the Zionist-American enemy, including coordinates and information on facilities producing parts related to the country’s defense industries."
Mizan said he sent information to satellite television networks. It did not identify those networks, but Iranian authorities have frequently accused Persian-language media outlets based abroad of cooperating with Israel.
The Mizan report said one "targeted location" in Iran was struck during the war after Kian passed on information about its whereabouts.
"The sentence was carried out early this morning after completion of legal formalities," Mizan said.
The website said Kian’s execution took place "less than 50 days" after his arrest, while his assets were also confiscated.
Iran carries out the second-highest number of executions in the world after China, according to rights groups including Amnesty International.
The Norway-based group Iran Human Rights says the Islamic Theocratic Republic executed at least 1,500 people last year, one of the highest numbers worldwide.
On Thursday, the country executed two men convicted of armed rebellion and membership in what authorities described as "separatist terrorist groups," a phrase often used to refer to Iranian Kurdish groups based in neighbouring Iraq’s Kurdistan region.
In response to Thursday’s executions, UN rights chief Volker Turk’s office said on X that, "Since the military escalation began, at least 34 people have been executed on political and national security charges, including in the context of the January protests. It is unacceptable that the Iranian authorities are instrumentalizing the current conflict to further stifle dissent," Turk’s office said on X.
