#1 Iran did not win the war, it won something more dangerous - opinion
The war didn’t collapse Iran. It cemented its control over Hormuz, rewired its alliances, and strengthened the very institutions the US targeted.

#2 Conflict with the West is central to their DNA. The sooner we accept this fact, the better our chances of survival.

#3 By most accounts the air campaign against Iran went extremely well, but it reminded us that it is historically difficult to force a regime change against an entrenched group without boots on the ground.

#5 Just take out the infrastructure - like you did to Germany & Japan in WW11.

We are still holding that card, ready to be played if necessary.

The previous "war" was not *the* war. It was merely an opening bid, a costly threat to demonstrate our sincerity. And our capabilities.

It is a pity we cannot see the back room negotiations between the factions on the Iranian side. 'Factions' may be a bit strong, maybe more like centers of interest. But the main parties, in order of influence at the moment, seem to be the Ayatollah/IRGC, the civilian government + Army, and lastly the People. Stay tuned!

#6 The "Virtual Ayatollah" seems to be a sock puppet to give the IRGC 'authority' to continue running the country into the ground. Think Biden, but ghey, and Hunter as a tool

#7 @4 WWII wasn't that selective. We destroyed entire cities, if sometimes the bombing destroyed factories and other needed production, so much the better.

IIRC it is now a war crime to bomb a country the way strategic bombing was done in WWII.
