[Gateway] A massive brawl broke out at a baggage claim at Chicago’s O’Hare Airport Monday evening.
According to reports, the fight started at a terminal 3 carousel following an argument between two passengers.
Two passengers were arrested for assaulting a woman.
"Officers arrested Christopher Hampton, 18, and Tembra Hicks, 20, for allegedly punching a 24-year-old woman." The New York Post reported. Tembra
At least a dozen people jumped in the melee.
A group of men jumped onto the carousel where they punched each other.
The women fighting grabbed huge handfuls of hair and dragged each other to the ground.
Two passengers were each charged with one misdemeanor count of battery, according to The Post.
But leave it to TGP to serve some hyperbole. "Massive brawl"? At least a [baker's] dozen jumped in [sic] the mêlée? Wow. Hockey games ain't got nuthin' on this one.

Sai Varshith Kandula, 19, appeared in a Washington, DC, federal court Wednesday, where Magistrate Judge Robin M. Meriweather ordered he be locked away Drop the gat, Rocky, or you're a dead 'un! until a hearing next Tuesday, CBS News reported.
Kandula, from Missouri, slammed the box truck into barriers along Lafayette Square just steps from the White House late Monday, US Park Police officials said. He had allegedly planned the attack for six months, with his goal to "get to the White House, seize power, and be put in charge of the nation," records show. Kandula was accused of threatening to "Kill the President If that’s what I have to do," and praised Nazism and Hitler.
He was originally charged with threatening to kill, kidnap or inflict harm on a president, vice president or family member, as well as assault with a dangerous weapon, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, trespassing and destruction of federal property, US Park Police said.
His federal charges have since been downgraded to a single count of depredation of property of the United States in excess of $1,000.
Good to know.
Prosecutors told the court Kandula is not a US citizen, according to Fox News.

Kandula, a self-described unemployed data analyst, was taken into custody after ramming the barriers with his vehicle just before 10 p.m. Monday, officials said. He struck the barriers once before reversing the box truck and launching forward again, ramming the structures a second time, according to a statement of facts released Tuesday. He then allegedly hopped out of the driver’s seat and went to the back of the smoking truck.
"The officer watched as KANDULA removed a red and white flag with a Nazi Swastika in the center from a black backpack he was carrying," the document states.
No one was injured in the crash and no explosives were found inside the vehicle.
Kandula later told federal agents he took a one-way flight from St. Louis to Washington, DC, and arrived around 8 p.m., court papers state. He then allegedly rented a U-Haul box truck and "drove directly to the White House."
He allegedly said his goal was to "get to the White House, seize power, and be put in charge of the nation."
When asked how, he responded he would "Kill the President if that’s what I have to do and would hurt anyone that would stand in my way," according to court documents.
Despite being stopped by the security barrier, Kandula told Sherlocks he was successful because he had hoped to send a message, court documents state.
"KANDULA stated a message was meant to be sent to all organizations like the Secret Service," the document goes on. "KANDULA added, ’either way, whether I got into the White House or not, my message was received.’"
He allegedly said he knew he would get arrested, but his "book" would get to "those who needed to see it."
The book was a "green book" in which he had written "his plans to enter the White House, and what he would accomplish if he was in charge," the filing states.

Kandula allegedly went on to praise Nazism for its "great history" and their "authoritarian nature, Eugenics, and their one world order."
"When asked if he looks up to any leaders," the document states, "KANDULA answered ’Hitler, because he was a strong leader.’"
Aniket Sharma, who attended high school with Kandula, told The Post he worried about his former classmate’s state of mind in light of the allegations.
"I couldn’t believe it for the first 10 — five, 10 minutes ... [I] never expected him to be doing something like this. I never thought a day like this would come."
Federal agents descended upon Kandula’s Chesterfield home Tuesday, when Sherlocks were seen entering with evidence bags and equipment, FOX 2 reported.
The Deccan Chronicle reports that Mr. Kandula is Telugu, a Dravidian group of about 81 million that originates in southeast India.

A college student who was on the same high school track team with Kandula told NBC News on Tuesday that they're both members of the sizable Indian American community in Chesterfield, Missouri.

Johnson sold his digital payments company Braintree to PayPal for $800 million in 2013, then started the brain-machine interface company Kernel.
The technologist's millions reportedly did not bring him peace. Instead, he was left depressed, bordering on suicidal, haunted by the inevitability that the march of progress would one day leave him behind.
TheBlaze reported earlier this year that Johnson had assembled a team of 30 doctors and was poised to spend $2 million a year on his body, admitting, "What I do may sound extreme, but I'm trying to prove that self-harm and decay are not inevitable."
While Johnson has not yet transformed himself into a Frankenstein monster comprising parts taken from various 18-year-olds, a new report indicates he has endeavored to take blood from young men.
Johnson routinely has the blood of a young, anonymous donor pumped into his body at a Dallas-area clinic called Resurgence Wellness.
The New York Post indicated that his previous donor was selected from various "blood boys" who had been "carefully screened ... to make sure the person had an ideal body mass index, lived a health lifestyle and was free of disease."
It appears as though the stranger's blood may have lost its savor.
Johnson turned up at the Dallas-area clinic on April 3 with a new blood boy: his son Talmage. His 70-year-old father Richard Johnson also tagged along and partook in the bloodletting.
The tech tycoon's son surrendered over 33 ounces of his blood (roughly one-fifth of the blood in his body), which was "converted via a machine into its piece parts — a batch of liquid plasma and then a batch of red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets," reported Bloomberg.
Johnson had his son's plasma subsequently fed into his veins.
"I created this human being," the tech tycoon told his camera crew. "I never imagined in my entire life this kind of relationship with my child."
Talmage Johnson said, "I was ecstatic to have that opportunity."
Rather than discard the plasma displaced by his son's blood, Johnson passed his middle-aged blood onto his geriatric father, who had similarly been drained.
This vampiric practice is referred to as "rejuvenation therapy," which has allegedly been shown to improve cognitive function, bone structure, and metabolism.

Dominican Republic: Pegasus spyware discovered on prominent journalist’s phone.
A high-profile woman journalist in the Dominican Republic has been targeted with NSO Group’s Pegasus spyware, in the first confirmed case in the country, Amnesty International reveals in a new investigation published on World Press Freedom Day.
Analysis by Amnesty International’s Security Lab confirmed that a mobile device belonging to Nuria Piera was targeted and infected with Pegasus, which enables full and unrestricted access to a device, three times between 2020 and 2021. Piera is an investigative journalist who has focused on issues of corruption and impunity in the Dominican Republic throughout her decades-long career.
The latest discovery means there are now at least 18 countries, where it has been confirmed with forensics that journalists were targeted with spyware, though the actual scale of this abuse of surveillance technology is likely to be much higher. The Dominican Republic is the third country in the Americas, after Mexico and El Salvador, where Amnesty International has confirmed the use of Pegasus to target journalists and human rights defenders.

[MAIL] The IRS whistleblower in the Hunter Biden probe has broken his cover after claiming the president's son was given preferential treatment in a tax probe.
Gary Shapley, a 14-year IRS agent, said he immediately saw deviations in Hunter's tax probe investigation when he was assigned the case in January 2020. He became concerned that prosecutors were mishandling the 'controversial' case and felt bound to blow the whistle due to his oath of office.
