[NY Post] New England Patriots team owner Robert Kraft announced Monday that he was pulling his support from Columbia University over the ongoing anti-Israel protest at the Manhattan campus.
"It was through the full academic scholarship Columbia gave me that I was able to attend college and get my start in life and for that I have been tremendously grateful," Kraft said in a statement. "However, the school I love so much — the one that welcomed me and provided me with so much opportunity — is no longer an institution I recognize."
"I am deeply saddened at the virulent hate that continues to grow on campus and throughout our country," Kraft added. "I am no longer confident that Columbia can protect its students and staff and I am not comfortable supporting the university until corrective action is taken.
"It is my hope that Columbia and its leadership will stand up to this hate by ending these protests immediately and will work to earn back the respect and trust of many of us who have lost faith in the institution," he continued.
"It is my hope that in this difficult time, the Kraft Center at Columbia will serve as a source of security and safety for all Jewish students and faculty on campus who want to gather peacefully to practice their religions, to be together and to be welcomed."

[SUDANTRIBUNE] Darfur State governor, Minni Arko Minawi has accused the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) of planning to create a new state in western Sudan ...a Moslem country located in the Horn of Africa. It is noted for its affinity for rule by ex- or current generals, its holy men, and for the oppression of the native Afro population by its Arab conquerors. South Sudan, populated mostly by the natives, split off from Sudan proper, which left North and South Darfur to be oppressed by the guys with turbans... He claimed on social media platform "X" on Sunday that the RSF’s territorial expansion aims to establish an unrecognized entity.
Minawi alleged the recent attack on Mellit town, north of El Fasher, was part of a strategy to encircle the Darfur capital and pressure residents by restricting humanitarian aid.
He called the move an attempt to force acceptance of RSF presence in the region.
The RSF, a paramilitary group led by General Mohammed Hamdan Dagalo (also Sudan’s deputy leader), currently controls most of Darfur after defeating the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) in several battles.
They recently seized Mellit, a strategic location that disrupts aid deliveries on the Port Sudan-Dabbah-Malit route.
In response, the Sudan Liberation Movement (SLM), led by Minawi, announced the suspension of its activities and office operations in RSF-controlled areas.
The SLM, a signatory to the 2020 Juba Peace Agreement, has faced harassment from the RSF, including arrests and office closures.
The SLM spokesperson al-Sadiq Ali al-Nur stated that the decision was based on security concerns and reassessment of the political climate in RSF-held territories.
The movement’s offices will remain closed "until further notice," he further stressed.

The noose tightens. First Mellit and now an attack on El Obeid. The Sudan's west is being strangled.
[AFRICANEWS] U.K. Prime Minister Rishi Sunak pledged Monday that the country's first deportation flights to Rwanda could leave in 10-12 weeks as he promised to end the Parliamentary deadlock over a key policy promise before an election expected later this year.
Sunak made the comments at a news conference, making his case directly to the public after vowing last week that Parliament would remain in session until the legislation is passed. The House of Commons will take up the bill later in the day, followed by consideration in the House of Lords.
Sunak demanded that the unelected House of Lords to stop blocking legislation allowing authorities to deport some asylum-seekers to Rwanda, as he seeks to make good on a campaign promise to "stop the boats" that bring migrants colonists to U.K. illegally.
"Enough is enough," Sunak said, as he told news hounds that commercial charter planes are booked to carry the asylum seekers.
He declined to provide details when asked how many people were expected to be on the flights in coming months.
"We are ready. Plans are in place, and these flights will go come what may. No foreign court will stop us from getting flights off," he said.
The bill has been stalled for two months as it bounced back and forth between the two houses of Parliament, with the Lords repeatedly offering amendments that were then rejected by the Commons. The Lords don't have the power to kill the legislation, but they must give their assent before it can become law.
The governing Conservative Party plans to send some asylum-seekers to Rwanda as a deterrent to persuade migrants colonists that it isn't worth the risk of crossing the English Channel on leaky inflatable boats.
The plan, pursued by three prime minsters over the past two years, has so far been stymied by a series of court rulings and vocal opposition from migrant advocates who say it is illegal and inhumane.
The current legislation, known as the Safety of Rwanda Bill, is a response to a Supreme Court decision that blocked deportation flights because the government couldn't guarantee the safety of migrants colonists sent to Rwanda.
After signing a new treaty with Rwanda to beef up protections for migrants colonists, the government proposed the new legislation declaring Rwanda to be a safe country.
Alex Carlile, an independent member of the House of Lords, said the amendments are designed to improve "ill-judged, badly drafted, inappropriate" legislation that is "illegal in current U.K. and international law."

[ColonelCassad] The Axis of Resistance forces in Iraq have announced that they will resume attacks on American bases in Iraq, as the United States is delaying the withdrawal of occupation forces from Iraq at the request of the Iraqi government, thereby prolonging the occupation of the country. The decision to withdraw American troops was made by the Iraqi parliament back in 2020. In 2023, the current Prime Minister of Iraq demanded the withdrawal of troops. The United States, taking advantage of Iraq’s weakness, is trying to delay it as much as possible, since leaving Iraq will entail a forced withdrawal from Syria.
The expected response to the attack on the Hashd Shaabi base (1 killed, 8 wounded + losses in equipment), which again led to an increase in anti-American sentiment in Iraq. As has been said more than once, attacks on Iranian proxies often do not hinder, but help Iran, since citizens of other countries included in the network of Iranian clients die. This allows Iran to influence domestic public opinion and other governments from within. Iran received such opportunities after the disappearance of Iraq as a deterrent and the Arab Spring, which weakened a number of countries and created space for the implementation of Iran’s general strategy.
In this case, we can expect new launches of homemade missiles and kamikaze drones at the Ain al-Assad bases and Erbil airport, as well as new attacks on American logistics convoys.

[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] New satellite images appear to show Israel building an enormous tent city as it prepares to evacuate the more than one million Palestinians who have sought refuge in Rafah, the last standing city in the Gaza Strip. Photos from satellite imaging company Planet Labs show a marked build up of tents in a uniform pattern near Khan Younis, which has largely been levelled during the bloody invasion of the Gaza Strip by Israel's military.
The photos, taken three days apart on April 18 and April 21 respectively, show white structures being built up significantly over a short period of time. Israel has said several times that it plans to evacuate displaced civilians from Rafah ahead of a six-week military operation that will likely begin in May.
Egyptian officials told the Wall Street Journal that the first few weeks will be dedicated to evacuating refugees to Khan Younis and other areas equipped with shelters and medical facilities. The preparations come as the US says that Hamas is gearing up for a 'full-scale regional war.'
State Department spokesperson Matt Miller said that Hamas was 'moving the goalposts' in hostage and ceasefire negotiations, adding that the terror group declined a 'very significant proposal', though did not specify what this was. He said: 'It certainly does seem like Hamas is more interested in a full-scale regional war. It takes two to make an agreement, and right now Hamas has signalled that they don't want an agreement.' Miller urged Hamas to stay at the table, telling the group the ball was 'in their court.'
Around 80% of the territory's population have fled to other parts of the besieged coastal enclave. The US House of Representatives approved a $26 billion aid package on Saturday that includes around $9 billion in humanitarian assistance for Gaza, which experts say is on the brink of famine, as well as billions for Israel. The US Senate could pass the package as soon as Tuesday, and President Joe Biden has promised to sign it immediately.
US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller says, "We don’t want to see Paleostinians evacuated from Rafah unless it is to return to their homes."
The Biden administration has repeatedly expressed its opposition to a mass IDF invasion of Rafah, though this language from the State Department appears new.
"We don’t think there’s any effective way to evacuate 1.4 million Paleostinians. There’s no way to conduct an operation in Rafah that would not lead to inordinate civilian harm and severely hamper the delivery of humanitarian assistance," Miller says.
At other times, US officials have indicated that they’d be prepared to accept an IDF offensive in Rafah if Israel did manage to safely evacuate the civilians there and care for their humanitarian needs. In his latest comments, Miller rejects the notion of any possibility that the US could support a major Rafah invasion.

The Israel Defense Forces is gearing up to evacuate Paleostinian civilians from Gazoo’s southernmost city in Rafah ahead of its planned offensive there, according to Israeli and Egyptian officials quoted by the Wall Street Journal.
Egyptian officials briefed on Israeli plans are quoted as saying that the first two to three weeks of the operation will consist of evacuating civilians, in coordination with the US, Egypt and other Arab countries.
The evacuation will reportedly involve moving civilians to the nearby city of Khan Younis, among other areas, and setting up shelters with tents, food and medical facilities.
After that, the IDF will gradually move troops into Rafah and target "areas where Israel believes Hamas ...not a terrorist organization, even though it kidnaps people, holds hostages, and tries to negotiate by executing them,...
leaders and fighters are hiding," the officials say.
Israel has said Rafah, where four of Hamas’s 24 battalions are deployed, remains Hamas’s last major stronghold in the Strip after the IDF operated in the north and center of the Paleostinian enclave.
The Egyptian officials say fighting in Rafah is expected to last at least six weeks, according to the report, though timing "remains uncertain."
An Israeli security official quoted in the report says that the IDF will "have a very tight operational plan because it’s very complex there."
As well as destroying the remaining four Hamas battalions believed to be hiding in Rafah, Israel believes that many of the remaining 129 hostages kidnapped in the terror group’s October 7 massacre are being held in the southern Gaza city.

The confab was reportedly funded by Hamas and sponsored by Hamas’s leader in Gaza, Yahya Sinwar.
Today, it is apparent that the conference was not merely a rhetorical exercise, but the expression of a clear intent by Gazook terror factions to destroy Israel, the stated goal of their October 7 onslaught, when some 1,200 were brutally massacred and 253 kidnapped to Gaza.
That objective was reiterated by former leader Khaled Mashal, who stated in a January interview that October 7 proved that liberating Paleostine was a "realistic idea."
The concluding statement from the 2021 conference outlines the steps needed to launch the new state, including how to deal with the Jews and the weeding out of informants to "purge Paleostine and the Arab and Islamic homeland of the hypocrite scum that spread corruption in the land."
Participants agreed upon the necessity to draft a Paleostinian Declaration of Independence immediately after the "liberation." To be drafted by experts, the document was seen as a continuation of the Pact of ’Umar signed upon the Islamic conquest of Jerusalem in 638 CE with its Christian patriarch.
An announcement would then have been issued to the UN, declaring that the state of Paleostine succeeded the "occupation state" [i.e., Israel] and would inherit the rights previously granted to Israel at the UN, based on the Vienna Convention on the Succession of States, including agreements on existing land and maritime borders with neighboring countries.
The Jewish population of the newly formed state of Paleostine would be treated according to their status: Fighters would be killed; those attempting to flee could be allowed to do so or detained and prosecuted for their crimes; and those who surrendered could be either integrated into the new state or given time to leave.
The issue would be dealt with "humanely, as is characteristic for Islam," the statement read.
However, you can observe a lot just by watching... special treatment was to be granted to "educated Jews and experts in the areas of medicine, engineering, technology, and civilian and military industry," who were to be retained for some time so that they would not leave taking with them the knowledge they had acquired "while living in our land and enjoying its bounty."
The following step, according to the document, would be the return of Paleostinian refugees, through the establishment of temporary absorption centers near the borders with host countries [Lebanon Hezbollahstan ...The Lebs have the curious habit of periodically murdering their heads of state or prime ministers, a practice dating back to the heady days of human sacrifice to Baal Moloch... , Syria and Jordan]. A "law of return" would be applied to them, and they would be issued identity cards, the statement read.
The international community and wealthy Paleostinians were to assist in the repatriation and integration process.
The new state would also issue its own currency, called New Paleostinian Junayh. Junayh (a term related to the English "guinea") was the currency used in Mandatory Paleostine, also known as the Paleostine pound or lira. It is also the name currently used in Arabic for the Egyptian pound.
"It should be introduced domestically even now so that people will become accustomed to it," the statement advised.
To protect the new state, the document called for "popular committees" of trained men and women to "guard the resources of the land and monitor them," since "Paleostinian fighters will be too busy." It is unclear what resources are meant.
On the same topic of "resources," conference chairman Kanaan Obeid said that the terror group learned a lesson from the 2005 Israeli disengagement from the Gaza Strip — when 21 settlements were evacuated and most of the residential buildings were destroyed. Later, some 3,000 state-of-the-art greenhouses were bought by foreign donors for $14 million and transferred to the Paleostinian Authority when it still ruled Gaza to jumpstart the agricultural sector in independent Gaza. The local population however looted and destroyed the structures.
"The resources of the settlements were lost," said Obeid.
Obeid reportedly served as the chairman of "The Promise of the Hereafter Institute," set up in 2014 with the stated goal of plotting out different aspects of the governance of the state of Paleostine after the "liberation" — including the economy, politics, security, and society.
The MEMRI report further noted that a Hamas politburo member relayed a speech by Sinwar at the conference, emphasizing the need to prepare for the day after the "liberation."
Referencing the May 2021 conflict against Israel, when, over 11 days, Hamas and Paleostinian Islamic Jihad ...created after many members of the Egyptian Moslem Brotherhood decided the organization was becoming too moderate. Operations were conducted out of Egypt until 1981 when the group was exiled after the assassination of President Anwar Sadat. They worked out of Gaza until they were exiled to Lebanon in 1987, where they clove tightly to Hezbollah. In 1989 they moved to Damascus, where they remain a subsidiary of Hezbollah... fired over 4,000 rockets and mortar shells at Israel, Sinwar said that that round of fighting "did not suddenly break out," but rather "the resistance had prepared for it with years of planning, training, military, and intelligence development."
The terror leader further predicted that the conflict with Israel "can end only with the implementation of the promise of victory and control that Allah gave us — that our people will live with dignity in its independent state with Jerusalem as its capital."
A former high-ranking Fatah member from Gaza who was well acquainted with the Hamas leadership recently spoke to Haaretz about another aspect of Hamas’s scheme for the "day after," namely the administrative division of "liberated Paleostine" into cantons.
The man said he was contacted by a well-known Hamas figure who informed him that Hamas was "preparing a full list of committee heads for the cantons that will be created in Paleostine." In 2021, he was reportedly offered the chairmanship of the "Zarnuqa" committee, named after the Arab village where his family lived before 1948, that was slated to cover the cities of Ramle and Rehovot.

The US&NATO were shamefully defeated in the 9/11 war and in the aftermath of 10/7 Islam has become much more relevant within the West.
For mainstream Muslims 9/11 and 10/7 were moments of triumph and the Western powers were shamed and humiliated by their respective defeats and by falling victim to atrocities.
The Western strategy of surgically applying superior military power has made our foes hate us more and fear us less.
They fear public shame and a loss of face and a rational Western strategy would aim to publicly shame and humiliate including by non-violent means (*).
But alas, this would be politically incorrect.

[HODHODYEMENNEWS.NET] Gideon Golber, the CEO of the Israeli port of Eilat, has revealed the weakness of the American-British-European alliance in repelling attacks on ships linked to Israel in the Red Sea.
"There has been no activity in the port for about 6 months due to attacks in the Red Sea," Golbar told the Israeli newspaper "Calcalist".
He added: "Israel and the US-British-European coalition have proven to be afraid, weak, and hesitant, and the Iran's Houthi sock puppets ...a Zaidi Shia insurgent group operating in Yemen. They have also been referred to as the Believing Youth. Hussein Badreddin al-Houthi is said to be the spiritual leader of the group and most of the military leaders are his relatives. He pointed out that shipping companies do not trust the Western US-British naval alliance’s ability to protect ships if they sail to Eilat, making them unwilling to take the risk.
He said: "I don’t think we can live without the Red Sea route, as many ships don’t even reach Ashdod and Aqaba."
He confirmed that the maritime blockade causes monthly losses to the port, stating that they are not a store selling consumer goods but rather a national infrastructure for Israel to transport goods through.

At the Knesset, former hostages who had been released in the November exchange of imprisoned terrorists for Israeli civilians held captive told what it was like for them in Gaza. The focus of the Knesset hearing was on the sexual abuse and rape of the female captives.
The world, in danger of forgetting about the hostages, as all eyes are on Israel’s putative misdeeds in Gaza, needs to be constantly reminded of what is happening to those still held captive.

Hamas now says it cannot come up with even forty hostages, consisting of women, the elderly, and female soldiers, to be exchanged for what, at last count, was supposed to be 700 Palestinian prisoners, some of them now serving multiple life sentences for murdering Israelis. US officials tell the Wall Street Journal that there are fears that most of the Israeli hostages in Hamas captivity could be dead.
The report comes amid talks to secure a hostage release deal and a truce, with some Hamas sources indicating that they are unable to provide 40 living hostages from the elderly, women and female soldiers that Israel is demanding.
It is believed that 129 hostages abducted by Hamas on October 7 remain in Gaza. The IDF has confirmed the deaths of 34 of those still held by Hamas, citing intelligence and findings obtained by troops operating in Gaza.

The Iranian president’s remarks came during his joint press conference with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad following his three-day visit to Pakistan.

“Today we decided to increase economic, commercial and cultural relations between Pakistan and Iran,” he said, adding that economic and trade volume between the two countries is “not acceptable”.
President Raisi, highlighting the brotherly relations between Pakistan and Iran, said that the two nations have historical ties which are based on religious beliefs and cultural similarities.
