[RADIOSHABELLE] A local official says Somali troops have engaged in a shootout with gunnies belonging to al-Shabaab ...... the Islamic version of the old Somali warlord... , the al-Qaeda ally in the conflict-riddled Horn of Africa country.
The clash broke out after troops on security patrol came under the al-Shabaab attack near the newly recovered Barire town located in Lower Shabelle region, according to the official.
The official who spoke to Radio Shabelle over the phone on condition of anonymity said both sides have suffered casualties during the battle that raged on for several hours.
Al-Shabaab has intensified attacks on SNA-controlled areas in the region as the krazed killer group faces increasing US military Arclight airstrike ...KABOOM!... s in the south and central Somalia.

[RADIOSHABELLE] US Africa command said two forces of Evil were killed in an Arclight airstrike ...KABOOM!... targeting al-Shabaab ...... Somalia's version of the Taliban, functioning as an arm of al-Qaeda... in the vicinity of Buulo Fuulay, Somalia, Mar. 27.
The air raid was conducted was in coordination with the Federal Government of Somalia and the AFRICOM said it assessed no civilians were maimed or killed in the operation.

Somali government has vehemently condemned the attack and sent a cable of condolences to the Puntland and governor’s family.

[BREITBART] The U.S.-led coalition withdrew on Sunday from a military base in northern Iraq that nearly launched Washington into an open war with neighboring Iran.
The K1 Air Base is the third site coalition forces have left this month in line with U.S. plans to consolidate its troops in two locations in Iraq.
A rocket attack on the base in late December killed one American contractor and lead to a series of tit-for-tat attacks between the U.S. and Iran-backed Iraqi militia groups. The attacks culminated in the U.S.-directed killing of top Iranian general Qassim Soleimani and senior Iraqi militia leader Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis.
Coalition forces handed over the K1 air base in the northern Iraqi province of Kirkuk to Iraq’s military, according to a coalition statement. At least $1.1 million of equipment was transferred to the Iraqis as 300 coalition personnel departed.
K1 has hosted coalition forces since 2017 to launch operations against the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. The stretch of territory is also disputed between the federal Iraqi government and the autonomous Kurdish region, which has created security gaps benefiting IS bully boys. The coalition’s presence had at times been a mediating presence between the two competing authorities.
A senior coalition official earlier this month claimed IS forces weren’t as able to exploit the "security gap" between Iraqi and Kurdish forces as the turbans did in the past.

According to the reports, several Islamic State fighters broke out of the Ghuweiran Prison in al-Hasakah, prompting the U.S. Coalition to get involved in order to apprehend the terrorists.
The reports claim that U.S. Coalition aircraft are conducting intensive flights over al-Hasakah, while using light bombs to prevent their movements.
ISIS forces of Evil have beat feet from an al-Hasakah prison before; however, they were later recaptured a few days later.
[ALMASDARNEWS] The Ottoman Turkish military launched an attack against the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and People’s Protection Units (YPG) in northern Aleppo on Sunday morning, a field source said from the governorate.
According to the source, the Ottoman Turkish military and their allied murderous Moslems heavily targeted the positions of both the Syrian Army and YPG in the Tal Rifa’at District.
The source said the attack was carried out with artillery shells and rockets, which were fired by both the Ottoman Turkish Armed Forces and the so-called "Syrian National Army" (SNA).
The Ottoman Turkish military and their allied forces have often targeted the Tal Rifa’at area and parts of the Afrin region because of the YPG’s presence; however, there is an agreement between the latter and the Syrian Army about patrolling this area.
