[KhaamaPress] The Ministry of Defense on Saturday has pledged to take Dire Revenge for the attack on a military helicopter in Maidan Wardak.
A front man for the Ministry of Defense, Fawad Aman has told media that based on the investigations and evidence, the Afghan Air Force helicopter was shot down by Alipur’s militia in Behsud.
Fawad Aman said MoD will "Dire Revenge the attacks at any cost".
The attack happened on Thursday at around 1 am when ANA helicopters were transferring security force members, equipment, and food.One of the choppers was shot down by Alipur militias in the Behsud district of Maidan Wardak.
According to reports Alipur is a local militia man in the region reportedly backed by outsiders to disrupt security situations.
Local militia commander Alipoor has admitted that his men had downed the chopper in Maidan Wardak province.
Nine security personnel, including two pilots and four special forces members, were killed in the incident, according to the Ministry of Defense.
Sources said that four army helicopters were supplying Afghan forces in Behsud district, Maidan Wardak province, early after midnight on Thursday, but one of them was attacked and was downed.
A senior security source tells TOLOnews that the helicopter was attacked by a laser-guided weapon by militias loyal to Alipoor in Behsud district.

New Prime Minister Abdulhamid Dbeibeh said on Friday that a cover-up could not be tolerated after the bodies of people rubbed out were found on Thursday

The security headquarters in Benghazi, which includes both police and military units under LNA control, initially denied that any bodies had been found, but said later on Friday it would issue a statement on the matter.
A security source told AFP on Friday that the 11 bodies initially found near a cement factory showed signs of execution. More bodies were found later.

[ENGLISH.AAWSAT] The judicial police of Rabat arrested the suspect who appeared in videos kicking teachers during the protests in the Moroccan capital last Wednesday.
The General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) said that judicial police services are investigating the case and launched all the necessary preliminary research in light of data and recordings published on social media, which made it possible to identify the man.
The suspect is in police custody for further investigation, the DGSN concluded.

Human rights activists and the Moroccan public were relieved upon the arrest of the attacker.
The National Human Rights Council (CNDH), an independent national institution, issued a statement Friday saying a number of individuals went violent mostly peaceful during the protests, indicating that the intervention of the public forces resulted in the injury of a number of people.

Well, let me vent a bit.
I really fault Trump for letting this get out of hand. When Portland, Seattle, Minneapolis et al local gov't let this get out of hand and actually encouraged it, the Feds should have stepped in. Trump's advisors probably convinced him that it would hurt his chances for re-election since the Dems were probably setting this up so they could "prove" he was a tyrant.

The US Attorney’s office is complicit in this travesty, as clearly is the court. The concept of justice and the rule of law are made a mockery by this.
Traditional Americans are beginning to get the idea of how it felt to be in Vichy France during WWII. While the government makes noises like its yours, the rules are made by enemies to whom you are criminal by race alone. We are seeing new kinds of banned “race crimino” called white suppremacists and already there are thoughtcrimes and forbidden behaviors. It is eerie how comparable aspects of public life are becoming parallel to this past.

On Saturday, the Syrian government forces continued their intense shelling on the sites of the opposition groups in Idlib and Hama, northwest Syria.
“The government forces targeted the sites of the opposition groups in the villages and towns of Ghab Plain, west of Hama, with more than 50 shells and missiles,” field sources told North Press.
Shelling the villages of Ghab Plain came hours after the Syrian opposition groups repelled an infiltration attempt by the government forces in the al-Mashari’ areas, west of Hama, and managed to kill several members of the attacking forces.
In Idlib, the government forces continued their artillery shelling on the towns of Kansafra, al-Fatira, Benin and Bazabur in Zawiya Mountain, south of the governorate, without reports of casualties.

In a statement, the army said its forces raided the houses of a number of wanted persons accused of forming an armed cell, planning to steal cars and rob by force of arms, in addition to counterfeiting of currency and drugs trafficking.
The army also arrested a person who had fled from the Baabda Justice Palace with several inmates late in 2020.
Last November, more than 60 inmates beat feet from Baabda prison, including five who later died in a car accident on a nearby road.
Later, the Internal Security Forces said that several of them have been arrested while others turned themselves in.
Britel, which is close to Syria, has been linked to criminals and drug pushers.
